Although you're probably not reading this, AnalogReigns, let me reiterate what others have said and provide a little detail.
I do not hate god. I don't hate god because he has not been proven to exist; doing so would be akin to me hating Deathmaster Snikch and his Eshin gutter runners because they're assholes and like killing people. Completely pointless and a waste of thought. I don't hate any sentient being on this Earth, either, because to hate a person is ridiculous. I prefer hating what people do to hating the people themselves.
I severely hate what people like you do--that is, twist logic around so that it sees your point of view when, from any sort of objective viewpoint, it is ridiculous. And going beyond that, you use your flawed thinking to provide excuses for everything you do and even let it lead you to do new things. You are willing to lie and say idiotic things in order to defend your thoughts, and you use those thoughts to determine your actions, so you're bound to do something stupid at a point. Not only do you provoke disdain, but you go even further, and blame those who hate what you do for oppressing you and persecuting you, when in actuality you are persecuting others, using your beliefs as excuses to dislike others when there is nothing to be hated about them.
In a more chronological order: You dislike others and do stupid things (including oppressing those you dislike) because of your beliefs. Some people question them, so you blame them for being heathens; if you are the majority, you persecute them, and if you are the minority, you accuse them of persecuting you. Then, when they get angry about you either hurting them or making dumb claims that they are hurting you, and start to retaliate, you call out for help and say you're being persecuted, if you weren't doing so before. This provokes a clique-like relationship and creates a rift between you and the others. Fortunately, some of them get over their annoyance and try to reason with you, but you act like idiots again and if you ever end up actually doing more than contradicting them, you end up turning logic around and around until it's dizzy and leaves. The anger is likely to start up again, and if it does it only reinforces the feeling of "brotherhood" between Christians of whatever denomination. The others don't want to identify themselves as brothers like you do, because nothing unifies them more than that they don't believe in god, so you use that they aren't unified and that they are the minority to make attacks on them, in your view weakening their arguments, and whenever they try to say something intelligent you block it out with your twisted logic and by making several logical fallacies in an attempt to disprove what the other says. You think you're right, even if you failed, and because you always are right, it seems to you as though they think they're always right and they are the ones unwilling to see the right viewpoint. They become angry at you and you, in return become angry at them. The cycle continues....
And you wonder why some atheists seem to hate you? I don't see why you're so surprised, either do something smart for a change or accept that some people will act like you're idiots; not everybody out there is completely politically correct and not everybody out there cushions their words. I feel as though I have to because I see that I'm in a minority and attacking you will only provoke retaliation, but there are some people out there who see an idiot and say "idiot" rather than seeing an idiot and waiting for the idiot to say something smart that they can compliment.
Edit: If you look at that list of fallacies that I linked to, you'll see just how many fundies use all the time, and a few examples even refer to common arguments for the existence of god.
