"I can't explain everything in the Harry Potter series, I just know that it is evil."
"I just know that it is evil." Good thinking.
"I know because I use to dabble in the paranormal before I was converted . Its designed to seduce children, its pathway is to demonic influences, its designer is Satan..."
Satan and the paranormal are no more real than your biblical God and Jesus.
"There's Nothing new under the sun"
So, computers have always been in existence as have x-ray machines, automobiles and the space shuttles.
"its just a repackaged seduction and indoctrination to the evil one for the 21st century."
So, anything which appears new is evil? We should only allow that which existed 2000 years ago?
"Why does it surprise anyone that a person like our President would be so fond of the story for his little girls?"
No, he is a bright, educated father who understands these are interesting stories his bright children enjoy.
"He is no Christian, but Michele's Mother is said to be one. So let us pray she has some influence there in that White House."
Obama claims to be a Christian and who should know better than he?
Let's hope you figure out that praying is worthless.

Ah, so Rowling is like Satan then? You people don't make any sense.
Perhaps if he conjures the Necronomicon and has his children read it, then okay, maybe you are on the right track.

Have you even read ONE page of a HP book, never mind a full novel? I reckon you lot are like the mad mullahs at a "Satanic Verses" book burning. You haven't read it, but you know it's evil. But then, how do you know? BTW, my physician (a Sufi Muslim) has read Salman Rushdie's novel, and he says it reads more like an (albeit movie-length) episode of "The Twilight Zone". And in his opinion, Allah and Muhammad would be too big to be offended by mere words.
So the First Children read HP? Good for them, I say. Great literature can only expand young minds. And expanded minds steer clear of superstition & lies.
I've read the Bible (both OT & NT), and I can explain it in one word: EVIL:

Why is it that every fundy used to be a (circle all that apply: witch, homosexual, evil-utionist Darwinist, Democrat) before finding Jesus, but none of them can describe those things accurately?

Are they still whining about Harry Potter? I thought they gave up on this issue years ago. What next? Dungeons and Dragons and heavy metal?

Actually retard is too mild an epithet for you. Being the ignorant, superstitious simpleton that you are, I have no trouble imagining that you once believed in and dabbled with a total load of puerile crap. Belief in the paranormal is just as stupid and pathetic as a belief in the tenets of a fundamental cult. But possibly not as harmful or dangerous. Although, I suppose belief in the tenets of a fundamental cult is belief in the paranormal.

"I Cant explain everything in the Hary Potter series, I jut know that it is evil." Funny, I feel the same way about rapture ready. I certainly cannot explain the mass insanity, but I know it's not a good thing.

Ah yes! Adaptive witnessing, commonly known as lying for Jesus.

Idiots that "dabble" in the paranormal are the same idiots that wind up on Rapture Ready. You are still dabbling, it is just a different cult, douchebag.

I'm sure that your vast experience in reading tarot cards and horoscopes makes you an expert.
"Its designed to seduce children"
Isn't everything? I think that the problem is that children are too easily seducible. Maybe we should fix that instead of trying to childproof reality.

Its interesting how many christians claim to have lead wild lives as witches or satan worshipers or dark priests. I'm inclined to call nonsense on all of it.

Yeah, in the movie "Religulous" Maher talked with this dude at a truck stop who was a self-proclaimed former Satanic priest. He used to get all the girls and drugs he wanted (he said), now he's hanging out in a truck stop chapel. Yeah ... right.

So seeing as you've never read the books you should probably know that they don't teach you magic. Since magic is not real.

Zoo
Which is why I believe aliens have invaded the earth several times (including bug-like aliens in one small town in the 16th century), there are portals to other galaxies and universes, there's a cube that kills people who suck at mental math, there are innumerable races/species of aliens, humans have visited other galaxies in spaceships. . . and there are even lovable aliens!
Or, you know, I'm able distinguish between fictional books and reality (and did long before I realized there was nothing stopping me from visiting the 'adult' section at the library in my early teens).
