What's so wrong about turning on Israel? They have been treating the people, who lived there before Israel was created, like vermin for very long, knowing that the US would stand behind them. The Palestinians are truly persecuted, in their own country. Or it used to be theirs before WWII ended and the winning countries gave it to the Jews. Nice to give away something you don't own...

Well, actually the region was under British rule from 1920 as the British Mandate of Palestine, until the foundation of Israel in 1948 - so it wasn't exactly giving away something that they didn't own.
