There are over 100 ways science is able to look at the Earth and 90 say it is thousands of years old - only 10 say it's real old.
Yeah, well, I'll take quality over quantity.

WTF? Seriously.
I consider myself a spiritual person and I believe in God, but I would much rather belief on the scientific facts over the Bible any day.

It's easier to be a lying fraud than a businessman these days.

You really might want to learn something about either science or Westminster Abbey before making a fool of yourself in the international media.

The bible says that the first man was made of dirt. I'm still waiting for a man to grow in my flower bed.

Heh, I saw this on the BBC website and thought, 'oh wow this could be on FSTDT'.
I wasn't aware of the reign of King Newton I or King Unknown Warrior...

One old businessman saying something does not make it true, and it does not negate thousands of years of scientific studies.
Darwin was not the first one to believe in evolution. Cavemen taking in wolves and breeding them with other wolves to make a more docile version, they used evolution, and did empirical studies. If they hadn't we'd be extinct, as we would have had no fire, no knives and no hides.
Nor was Darwin the first atheist, he was Christian for most of his life.
Last time I checked most countries in the western world have freedom of speech, most of the countries in the world have it, in fact. Some countries have it but with limities, you are not allowed to criticize the leaders or the religion.
Liberalism means freedom.

Darwin is indeed buried in Westminster. So are Newton, both Pitts, Ben Jonson, Isaac Newton, David Livingstone, Robert Stephenson, Charles Dickens, Laurence Olivier, Robert Browning, Georges Handel, Thomas Hardy, Geoffrey Chaucer, Rudyard Kipling, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Henry Purcell and Robert Blake, among others. None of these, to the best of my knowledge as an Englishman, were ever monarchs of the realm. Your point is?

You're for free speech, eh? Then you'll have no objection to all religious accounts of creation being taught alongside yours.

Sorry, I'll take the word of scientists and scholars who have dedicated years to studying this subject over the word of a "retired businessman" on this matter.

"Why is Darwin buried with kings at Westminster Abbey? He's not a king."
Neither were Isaac Newton, Chaucer, Kipling, Dickens, Charles Lyell or Ernest Rutherford. Britain tends to honour their very best of the best with burials there. Though, to be honest, why it's considered an honour for your remains to sit amid those of kings and queens (not generally known for their intellectual abilities) escapes me.

Freedom of speech would work a lot better if more people were able to recognize when some people speaking are complete idiots.
That people might actually pay money to go to the creationist museum is proof that freedom of speech doesn't work as well as it should.

"The way liberals and evolutionists win an argument is to outlaw freedom of speech..."
So why is it only the creationists who file false DMCA claims against YouTube videos that are critical of their beliefs?

"The retired businessman dismisses Darwin's theory as "not even a low grade hypothesis" and said it had "no substantial science" in it."
Yes, because when it comes to science, the first and foremost authority on it is some random retired businessman. Well done. [/sarcasm]

News reporting takes another step into the Abyss.
I'm glad they're so eager to tear down Darwin. It means we have an easy way to tell if they're worth a shit or not. If they don't realize the theory isn't one man, we can ignore them.

Uh huh. Sure. Right. Keep thinking that moron. You know nothing of me or my life so please don't tell me what I think and believe.
