Liberals restrict freedoms? Is that why conservatives imprisoned Galileo when he discovered that the Earth revolved around the sun, why conservatives fought back against slavery, women's right to vote, black civil rights and now the gay populations right to marry?

Dr. Novakaine
Dear Robert Mailloux:
Please stop pretending you know anything about evolution. Or the age of the Earth.
Sincerely,
Dr. Novakaine
P.S.: If your argument against evolution is a lack of subtantial science, why then have you gravitated towards an idea that has zero science behind it?

Ugh, that place is truly amazing. Think about it, we dont need the Large Hadron Collider to create black holes. We have one right here in the U.S. capable of a gravity well so dense that even intelligence can't escape. Regrettably the idiocy flies right out because it lacks substance.

The retired businessman dismisses Darwin's theory
Well, I was set on believing in evolution, because of all the evidence scientists have shown me, but because a retired businessman dismisses it, he must be right!
There are over 100 ways science is able to look at the Earth and 90 say it is thousands of years old - only 10 say it's real old.
See, here I thought the truth wasn't a democracy. Does this mean then, since only one out of thousands of religions claim Jesus Christ is the way to heaven, then that one must be wrong?
The way liberals and evolutionists win an argument is to outlaw freedom of speech...
That must be true, because I've never heard of a Creationist before now. They certainly couldn't be winning the arguments based on the evidence, now could they?
Why is Darwin buried with kings at Westminster Abbey?
Because, where a man is buried determines whether he makes a good scientist or not.

"Retired businessman" is a credible credential to prove someone's a science authority now?

Actually, that's what fundy Muslims AND fundy Christians advocate. Radical Muslims want to behead you for questioning them, while fundy Christians want to either execute or at least imprison you.

I love this article. It's the BBC, so they have to pretend to have a NPOV, but, damn, you can tell the writer is presenting the fundies in the craziest possible light.
Especially with the highlighting of that "buried with kings" bit. The writer KNOWS that's good for a laugh in their readership.

"The way liberals and evolutionists win an argument is to outlaw freedom of speech... they won't let us in."
Weakest argument ever. The only way you "get in" to scientific documentation or theory is to follow the scientific method: Proof or reasoned and testable theory. Creationism (Intelligent Design even) not only has no evidence to support it it refuses to follow the scientific process.
The only reason you want to 'get in' to the scientific world is to hinder it.
So many creationist talking points in one quote too.
