You don't believe in orgasms???? I really pity you.
If you can't trust your partner you're in a really sad position. Evidence on the other hand can be faked, that's why you'll look for SOLID evidence from credible sources, unlike the ones you usually consult.
"it is really easy to prove"
...
"I offer not proof but conjecture"
If it is so easy to prove, then provide proof. Proof being what proves something, after all.
BTW: Did anybody see the goalpost? It was here just a moment ago.
...
he actually just said he doesn't believe in evidence...
well, congratulations, you just ended all point in conversation with you. nothing either of us say can hold any meaning. after all, there's no way to prove we even said it.
So much of debate, let alone intellectual debate. Also, coming soon, in Toys-R-Us near you, brand new games. Have fun with your family with games such as: "Where are the goalposts", "Move the goalposts" and "Fairy things (mostly evidence)".
Bizarro World, from which this fellow hails, is an interesting place. In it, evidence is the stuff of fairy tales, and philosophers, scientists, and other scholars debate using an unusual combination of binge drinking, rock-paper-scissors, and slap fights. Other interesting aspects of Bizarro World include the wonderful and entirely beneficial presidency of George Bush and the high esteem in which most hold Loser.
"Like orgasms, they are too easily faked."
I'm sure women world wide will agree with you on this one.
< I offer not proof but conjecture and logic in the adult section. I don't believe in fairy tale things...like evidence. >
But evidence is what conjecture and logic relies on. If you start from make-believe facts, you end up with make-believe results.
In other words: Logic is a system in which when you put garbage in, you get garbage out.
< Like orgasms, they are too easily faked. >
Oh really? Most of the guys I know can somewhat reliably tell if someone's faking an orgasm, or at least so they claim. Are you perhaps relying on pure conjecture on what real orgasms are supposed to be like?
He doesn´t believe in Evidence?
So with other words, you could give him even rock solid evidence as proof (like letting an apple drop to the floor to prove that there is something like gravitation) and you still won´t convince him of the thing you want to prove (unless he already "believed" in it)?
Funny, but I assume people who, for example, want to believe in things like the literal truth of the bible, or even a flat earth, have no other option available
:D

1) Conjecture and logic are mutually exclusive. Conjectures are guesses. They might be reasoned guesses, but they are still guesses. Logic, on the other hand, is a tool to go from an assumption to a conclusion. Thus, if it is cloudy and damp, and there are puddles on the ground, it is logical to assume that it rained.
As for the rest of your comment, I'm just not even going to go there.
If it was learned behavior, then there wouldn't be homosexuals, as all children, even homosexual children are raised by mother and father.
FAIL!
