Christians hate it when I say this, but scripture does NOT say that ALL human life came from Adam & Eve. It says that Eve became the mother of all "living." The family tree referred to begins with Adam & ends with Jesus. That's the family talked about. It's clear b/c when you get to the flood & Noah, (which also talks about Nephilim, but that's another story), Noah, of all Adam's descendants was the only who had kept his blood line pure but not intermingling with other humans outside his family tree (or with the Nephilin).
People just don't get that the bible is not the story of ALL human kind. It's about family line from YHWH's creation of Adam to final Holy Spirit begetting Jesus. The people in between were not all pure blooded. Those interracial marriages (from people anathema to Israelites) are also noted in Old Testament.

Who did the children of Adam and Eve have sex with to create more humans?
Then who did Noah's kids have sex with to create more humans?
Man, the bible is one filthy book.
*dramatic background music*
The Bible - a story of one family's search for enlightenment.
Weep as Joseph gets sold as a slave, laugh as Noah gets drunk.
First, good job justifying incest, second, the bible DOES say that all human life came from Adam and Eve.
Way to go. And I know what's next step: Justifying murder.
"I've killed them, but don't worry, they weren't really living. Says so in THIS book!"

OK, hold that thought and compare it to the relative simplicity of biological evolution.
No? You prefer the book?
That's alright. At least I've tried.
Cool,
so, if you don´t belong to this pure bred family, the rules set forth within the bible don´t apply to you.
:D

So, apparently, not all human life is living? WTF is that supposed to mean?

Really? I thought it was supposed to be about the creation of all (after all, why care about some book about somebody totally irrelevant, right?) But then, it's fiction anyway, so why even bother...
Not fundie, just confused about his reasoning, IMHO.

By this comment (which, by the way, has no biblical support whatsoever), you have just negated the entire central thesis of Christianity. That is that all have sinned and need to accept Jesus as their savior in order to be saved.
If the non-descendants of Adam and Eve (or, as it would eventually end up, Noah) are not considered part of the "living," and the bible is a story pertaining only to the "living," then by your logic, all non-Jews are exempt from salvation.
Oddly enough, there is a religion that agrees with that concept-Judaism. No Jesus needed.
Oddly enough, there is a school of thought that says that not all human life came from Adam and Eve - and that the rest of us are therefore exempt from the whole original sin business. After all, Cain's wife had to come from somewhere.
It's a fun one to explain when the Jehovah's Witnesses come calling:

This isn't so bad (and it sounds like E-ma isn't Christian).
@ ObserviNG: Well, no, not all human beings are living. Quite a lot of them are dead. So according to this person, Eve isn't the ancestor of every human ever--just the ones who currently survive.
Listen dear, Hawah(Eve´s Hebrew name) means "the mother of the humankind". Case closed. And the Israelites, if you actually care to read, at the beginning had no problem with raping women of those "anathema" people, at least when they were a bunch of beduines with no future.
Wait, according to the Bible, Adam was alone and that´s why Eve was created. What´s the problem now?, Nephilim were a dull company?. Second, the "living" part is confusing, does it mean that more than 2/3 of the humankind is "dead"?, and moreover, didn´t we inherit the original sin from Adam and Eve or not?, what is Jesus for, then?. Man, I know why Christians hate you, you have ripped off their theology.
I actually don't care what scripture says or doesn't say about the origin of human life. Or your interpretation of it for that matter Mr.WhitePower-Fundie.
I care about what science says about it. Paleontology, genetics, all that good stuff. Now THAT is information about the human race that's actually worth a damn. Oooh, guess what it says by the way. It says human races don't biologically exist and that they are purely a social construct.
Confused?
