You. Sick. Fuck.
You guys don't understand evolution at all do you? It would be pretty obvious that shooting someone would not be in the species' best interest.

Fucking drama queens. Have you guys ever even TRIED to make the case that children immediately go on a shooting spree when they hear about evolution? No, like every other lie you tell, you just keep repeating it, thinking that makes it true. You're so full of shit.

My teachers must not have known much, they didn't give us the lessons on "life having no meaning."

Thank goodness AiG isn't the mainstream opinion, or else I might have to go Fundie and complain about persecution, because this picture is just beyond distasteful.

Actually Johnny usually seems to snap as a result of years of abuse in the home and bullying and harassment by good Christian kids. Hmmmm, let's see, what shall we do about that?

The main contributer to school shoots is bullying.

As opposed to say, "Life only has meaning through God, God demands sacrifice, you're never good enough, people are mud dolls, death means nothing."
If you teach children that death can be made to go away and everyone who deserves it will come back at some point, why should they think killing people is wrong?

"Life has no meaning"
Umm... pretty much every post on RR would lead one to believe that life on earth has no meaning. I mean, how many posts have we seen of people putting off getting a life because "god's coming so soon" or shit like that. I'd say born again christians are the ones that believe life has no meaning.

EllwynDarwin,
Respectfully, I would suggest that the leading factors in school/church/mall/you name it shootings are sociopathy and psychopathy. Of course that distinction is immaterial to the fact that the teaching of evolution has nothing to do with it.

The really sick thing about this is, according to their site, it can be sent as a greeting card.
What kind of asshole would send a card like that and, even more so, what kind of sicko would welcome receiving it?
I can only shake my head in sorrow about the kinds of lives these people must lead.

Yeah, what with that rash of far-left violence recently. Why remember that athiest who shot an abortion doctor? And when those athiests lied their asses off to californians to keep gays from being equal citizens? Damn athiests.
PS: seriously, columbine, Vigrinia Tech, can anyone name one non-fundie who blames one chapter in sophmore biology for losers with mental problems going crazy on the people who bullied them?

You missed the middle frame in this cartoon, guys. You know, the one where the Christian kids tease the kid who's trying to tell the truth. Make him feel less-than-human for not needing an invisible friend. Extreme bullying, you guys know it, you're so good at it.
That's when someone wants to have a school shooting. No need to ask why...

Perfect logic! Johnny wouldn't have gotten motivation to conduct a school shooting from constant bullying and harassment like what the Columbine kids and Seung-Hui Cho faced, but because the schools ACTUALLY TEACH A SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT DIFFERING FROM THE CHRISTIAN FUNDIE MAINSTREAM!!!
And you think your conservative kind is completely immaculate?
Take a look at this guy.

Let's try a different piece of propaganda:
If THIS is what Johnny can read and write...
...then this shows that Johnny really understands his lessons!
Sickening, isn't it?

Pfffff... This is just sad.
Public schools don't teach that "there is no god." They just can't teach that there is a god. And they don't teach that "life is an accident," either. Or that it has no meaning...

Yergh. No.
If you want to know WHY this kind of shit happens, look in the mirror, listen to what you and your fellow Christoholics are saying and doing -- YOU are the cause, you and your "sharing the good news" (read: Bullying for Christ).
As your Lord and Slaver said, tend to the plank in your own eye before focusing on the speck in your neighbor's.

Hmm. . . well. . .
People ARE animals, but that was never told to us outright in class (not even in college if I recall, but I think they think you've figured it out by then). What's wrong with that anyway? Research keeps telling us that how different humans are from other animals is a matter of degree rather than kind.
Life has meaning, but it's not a universe revolves around me sort. Since you bring it up, consider a pathogen's 'purpose' is simply to fill a niche nothing else has taken up (not any fall or curse. . .). A human's purpose, besides what s/he chooses, is pretty much to adapt.
Science teachers are going to be in trouble when they start saying in class there is no god; it's not a topic for science class anyway. I can't recall it ever being even implied. Not even in the college class where the professor made comments on creationism (which was appropriate for that particular course).
What's wrong with life being an accident? If you're not taught this is a bad thing and that your life is what you make it (or you figure it out for yourself after a lifetime of hearing otherwise) there's no issue.
And what is it with you guys and absolutes? Some of us can handle that life is full of gray situations, and that a right answer one time might be the wrong one another time. And we tend to agree on the important absolutes anyway; humans deserve to not be killed by other humans, and people's stuff belongs to them and it's not ok to take it. We don't need a god for that.
Hey, look at that. I learned all these things and I still don't want to kill massive numbers of people (or any people).
