Quote# 63538

One should examine what are the religious affiliation of KKK members. They are mostly ATHEISTS like Von Brunn. Atheists are everywhere.

You fail. Hard. The KKK was Christian based. As is the Christian Identity and Army of God. Von Brunn is probably closer to you and your ilk than to any atheists.

The KKK are most definitely Christian, explicitly so, IIRC.

In my experience, most hardcore racists are fundamentalist religious nuts, atheists are much LESS likely to be racists then religious folks are.

Mind you, there are racist atheists, and they are just as stupid as the non-atheist kind, and generally fail at the theory of evolution.

Actually, Von Brunn was a bit of an aberration in that regard; most white supremacists are Christian in some form or another. Which is not to say there aren't quite a large contingent of neopagans among the lot, but then quite a few Nazis would be neopagan by the modern definition as well. (I believe the Asatru movement has been trying to dissociate itself from such people for years.)

So an atheist is one who believes in Christ, and a Christian is one who has no god?

Hey, makes sense based on what you said.

Like most white supremacists (for example von Brunn) they are probably Christians.
(But there are quite a few "Odinists" among them, as the white Vikings worshiped Odin, and Jesus was a jew from Palestine (i.e. NOT WHITE).)

From Wikipedia:
"Christian Identity is another movement closely tied to white supremacy. The Ku Klux Klan's reasons for supporting racial segregation are not primarily based on religious ideals, but some Klan groups are openly Protestant."

Von Brumn was a Nazi. The other end of the far right movement.
