Quote# 63599

NBC news just reported he is dead. Now we can only pray for his family. It is too late for him. Like hubby said, Michael was leading closer to the Muslim faith then to the Christian faith.

Was wondering when the vultures would pop up.

Michael Jackson, a Muslim? He was a Peter Pan.
First and foremost he was a musician, that is how he will be remembered by most sane people.

The Man

On a side node, am I the only one who hates the term 'hubby'?

6/29/2009 6:14:38 AM

Mister Spak

Since islam is the real religion, you are the one it is too late for.

6/29/2009 6:27:45 AM

I didn't like his music. I thought he was an oddball, and the news coverage of his death has been obsessively tedious. But I'm not going to masturbate over his corpse to advance any conspiratorial agenda.

6/29/2009 6:32:51 AM

I thought he was JW.

Caustic Gnostic

"Hubby" knows what's up, yah suuure. What's a hubby? A diminutive hub?

I don't like it either, The Man.

El Zorro

According to RR, all black people are Muslims.

6/29/2009 6:49:55 AM

Well, if Hubby said it, it must of course be true, because, as a fundamentalist "true christian" woman of course you aren´t allowed to think for yourself and have to take Hubbys word almost like a word of god ;)

6/29/2009 6:53:20 AM

And where did this come from?

6/29/2009 7:02:11 AM

I once had a Hubby that I loved to ride.. Oh no, wait. That was a Huffy.

6/29/2009 7:09:22 AM

And you would know that Michael was Muslim because?

Yes we all know, well, at least I know, that his brother Jermaine is Muslim, so Michael is Muslim by association? No, I don't think it works that way.

Besides, do you know whether or not Michael embraced or was getting into Islam? Do you know whether or not Michael embraced or was getting into Christianity?

Right, I didn't think so since you aren't omniscient, and since you aren't omniscient how would you know for sure he's burning in Hell?

Right again, you don't know.

Remember Matthew 7:1-2? Yeah, so stop it will ya?

6/29/2009 7:20:34 AM

I love how these people think that they know exactly what someone's faith is like when all they know about a person is from tabloids and entertainment magazines.

Because everybody knows tabloids are never wrong, right? I mean, okay, the chances that he converted to fundamentalist Christianity at any point are pretty slim, but the Bible is pretty clear about how it's God's job to sort out the good from the bad, not Rapture Ready's.

6/29/2009 7:23:12 AM

Citations, Betty, or you're a filthy liar.

6/29/2009 7:27:01 AM

I'd love to see your source for this accusation. Odds are you'd show us your ass.

6/29/2009 7:32:59 AM

Pray? That's all you guys do. If somebody was burned out of their home and lost everything you'd pray. How about getting off your ass and actually do something worth while. Handing out bibles is not an option.

6/29/2009 7:40:25 AM

AND there are the vultures circling the corpse.

6/29/2009 7:43:27 AM

Dio Fa

How do you know he didn't recant his Muslim ways on his death bed and accept Jebus as his lord and slaver? Then he would be up in hebbin with other fine Christians, such as Jeffrey Dahmer.

6/29/2009 7:47:52 AM

Reverend Jeremiah

Eh, to be honest I have no idea what religion Mike was, even if he had any. He never struck me as a fundy, or as someone who even liked to talk about it publicly. Which pretty much means he gets a thumbs up from me on that dept.. now if only these fundies could take a cue and keep their "personal relationship with Jesus" just that..personal.

6/29/2009 8:41:45 AM

"Michael was leading closer to the Muslim faith then to the Christian faith."

I think that's Jermaine Jackson you should be referring to. He's a Muslim. Michael was a Jehovah's Witness, FYI. 'Muslim, THEN Christian'? Apostasy is a serious no-no in Islam, I think you'll find. Unless you mean "Michael was leading closer to the Muslim faith THAN to the Christian faith." I love correcting fundies about their spelling and grammar, especially 'Then/Than'. It proves they are stupid & illiterate about what's supposed to be their FIRST language. Ergo, the inferiority of fundies to Atheists.

Your ignorance speaks volumes about you, your 'hubby', and everyone on Ruptured Retards.

6/29/2009 9:44:03 AM

Not only is there no evidence of him being a Muslim, and so what if he were, but a Muslim must be buried within 24 hours of dying. Michael Jackson is still waiting around as I write this, and I'm sure his funeral, whenever it is, will be a media circus, so we'll all know when it happens.

6/29/2009 10:01:38 AM

This one isn't that crazy, there was big news story a few years back about him possibly converting to Islam during his trial. Since I avoid celebrity gossip like the plague, I must've seen it on the MSM.

Bender Bending Rodriguez

I call Poe on this one.

This person cited NBC News, not FOX News as their "source."

6/29/2009 10:18:20 AM

"NBC news just reported he is dead."

And like most people with nothing to say, you had to jump on this with your sage commentary.

"Now we can only pray for his family."

Yeah. Your prayers and $1.50 will buy them a cup of coffee, and what's this "we" business?

"It is too late for him."

And where were your prayers when it wasn't "too late?" Listening to a recording of the Heavenly Choir and a "Your prayer will be answered in the order in which it was received" message? Maybe the Easter Bunny forgot to deliver it, or maybe you were too busy condemning him at the time? Hypocrite!

"Like hubby said, Michael was leading closer to the Muslim faith then to the Christian faith."

And "hubby" should know how exactly? Rectal hypothesis doesn't count except among the brain-dead. Next time you feel like commenting, stay out of the cooking sherry.

And yet again, a**holes attack people who can't defend themselves anymore. I'm starting to see pattern here...
