This isn't worth my time. Liberals are the only ones here, apparently, and no matter what I say, I'm going to be ridiculed for my beliefs. No more on this thread from me. I will say that I believe with all my heart homosexuality is a CHOICE. It's trendy to be gay right now, so people are jumping on the bandwagon--regardless of the consequences.

Someone should give this guy a day in the life of a gay person. I don't really think someone would choose the life of persecution and discrimination it can bring - not to mention having to come out to the family! Don't get me wrong, I'm gay and I'm happy with myself. But given the choice, I would have chosen to be straight from the beginning, since it'd just be so much easier and less painful.
I like being persecuted by my fellow human beings! Yay! Remember, kids, fashion isn't always comfortable, but at least you'll be fabulous with your head smashed in due to a hate crime!
Trendy?
Look, I've been known to wear leg warmers outside of dance class, but sleeping with people I'm not atracted to just be cool... wtf, that's what cigarettes are for.
I read in this month's Discovery an interesting hypotheses:
Assuming a biological predisposition to homosexuality, the more intolerent a culture, the more it will spread, because an intolerent culture forces a homosexual to live like a heterosexual, ie hide their sexuality, get married, and have kids.
being Xian is a lifestyle choice, often used for advantage!! You can change your religion, and the religion you practive is too often the one you were born into, so what exercise of choice here?
priests and bishops are lifestyle coaches
Hmmm, yes, that DOES sound about right!
I spent half my life hating myself and trying to force myself to be straight and taking abuse from people every day because I CHOSE to be gay!
It all makes sense now!
To choose, what exactly?. Discrimination?, ridicule?, the possibility of not being able to have a family because they can´t find the right person and adopt or use surrogate mothers or sperm donnors?. And which consequences are you speaking about?, if it´s STDs, it´s the same for heterosexuals.
You're entitled to your (stupid) belief, sure. That doesn't make it true, or keep other people from their belief that you're stupid.
It's trendy to be ostracized, beaten up, murdered, not allowed to marry or adopt, hated, villified, imprisoned, executed?
Sounds like a fun bandwagon, I see why you want to jump on it, Cammie.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
