Because it didn't. You have an idealized and quite fictional idea of what life in the 1950's actually like, no doubt based upon the tv shows from that era that you think depicted an idyllic time when gays were crazy, when blacks knew their place, when non christians were rare and almost unheard of, and where women realized that it was their god ordained duty to serve their masterhusband and pop out spawn as often as possible so that there are more souls for god to feast upon 'ahem' love. That sort of place only existed in TVLand, not the real world.

So if it's a disease then what are the symptoms? How does the disease progress? What causes it? Is it contagious? Can it be cured? Why isn't it classified as a disease?
The reason it's not considered a disease is because it isn't one, and it won't become one no matter how badly you want it to.

Wanting to be recognized as a distinct community with equal status as others is not "shoving an agenda down your throat". In fact I daresay that if you feel that the so-called "gay agenda" is being forced on you then the problem likely lies with you and your obsession with trying to make people think you are persecuted by a diverse group of people who likely don't know, or even care that you exist and that you hate them oh-so-very-much.

Since when did homosexuality become an unforgivable sin? Since when did all other christians become sinless and incapable of further sin? That's what you seem to be suggesting, although your bible (Which I can be fairly confident that I've read far more times that you have, which so far seems to be never.) states that all sins are equal in the eyes of god, and then there is also that little parable about specks and planks. But you seem to be putting forth the idea that all christians are just good sinless people and that the evil gays are responsible for everything bad in the world.

That's true, because there have always been gays all throughout history and before the concepts of schools or shooting existed. But you seem to be claiming that homosexuality, or at the very least, homosexuals are responsible for school shootings and that is a lie, pure and simple.
Gays don't force a mentally disturbed person to shoot up a school, nor does being gay doesn't make a person shoot his or her classmates any more than being straight does, and the only people who are claiming such a thing are people like yourself, who make such a claim to advance your own agenda of hatred and bigotry..

And what does this assertion mean anyway? Are you seriously claiming that being anti-war is because there are gay people? That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard in my life. There are gays on both sides of the current war issue, and there have been people who opposed war as long as there has been war and to claim that no one protested wars until gays did. You also seem to be operating on the assumption that gays have only been around for the last 100 years or so, you are wrong, you are fractally fucking wrong.

Terrorism has nothing whatsoever to do with homosexuality, and it never has.

Gays had nothing to do with 9/11 and you know it. They didn't fly those planes, radical jihadists from Saudi Arabia, Lebannon, and Egypt did. But in your zeal to push and propagate your agenda of hatred towards gays you have trivialized the innocent civilians that died that day, you have invoked their memory, not to honor them, but to defame another group of people that you happen not to like, people who were not involved in those attacks and should not bear any burden or responsibility heinous actions of that day.
You mock the dead by suggesting that gays are responsible for 9/11, not because you think they actually are responsible, but because you get a kick out of blaming them for everything, even things you know for a fact they are not and could not be responsible for.
And how can you sit there and claim that gays will burn in hell for their sins and yet act like you won't as if you think you are above sin or even sinless when you break the commandments that are supposedly sacred to your "god", you bear false witness, you knowingly and willingly lie, not in defense of yourself or your religion, but to spread hatred. Whatever happend to "love thy neighbor as thyself" and "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"? Nobody, including yourself, believe that any of those things happened because there are gays and that they didn't happen before there were gays (Which is erroneus because there have always been gays.) and therefore gays must bear 100% of the blame.
