"No need to guess what recent topic in the news sparked this thought...."
Let me guess. Stocks went up. Or down. Or it rained. Or the temperature was too hot/cold for your area. Or you saw too many/not enough people/cars/birds/dogs/etc. Or your clock is running too fast/slow. Or any number of other asinine "End Times" signs you people worry about.
"but I was curious as to what you all think."
I think you're a fucking loon.
"Most of us who have life insurance, list our beneficiaries as our spouse, children or other close relatives. Now, hopefully all of them will be Raptured with us. My son is on my policy but he is going up into the clouds with me!"
How is anyone who thinks they're going to float off into the clouds any minute now still walking around free on the streets?
"But what about those who will be left behind. How is that going to work with missing people? I mean there will be no bodies and there will be potentially thousands of claims."
I'm pretty sure there wont be. Besides, Acts of God are rarely, if ever, covered in insurance policies.
"Don't they make you wait a year to declare someone that is missing to be dead?"
Aren't all of you goofy bastards supposed to float off into the clouds? How would anyone miss such a spectacle? Why would anyone need to be declared missing or dead if everyone could see you being whisked away into the sky?
Jesus Christ. This is your fucking delusion. Why am I doing all the hard work for you?
"How will all the insurance companies handle this? And what about those polices where all the beneficiaries listed go missing? Does that money turn over to the state?"
See, it's at the point where your beliefs and delusions begin intruding on your daily life like this that it's time to put them away and get some help.
"My policy is paid by the company so it has no loan value, but I just can't imagine the legal nightmare the Rapture is going to cause in this area."
Why do you even have an insurance policy. Aren't you due to be floating in the clouds any day now?
What kind of hypocrite are you?
