Oceans are known for sheltering life during nasty ice ages you dolt. Take a peek under the North Pole, you'll get ran over by something living.

"NAME ME ANY RACE OF MAN THAT CAN LIVE ON ICE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS."

Putting something in all caps doesn't make it so. An ice age technically doesn't mean that the whole world is covered in ice and...... oh why do I even bother to try?

The stupid, it really hurts.

One day, I swear, one of these posts will cause irreparable damage to my brain. I'll stagger from my chair, and I'll be too fucking brain-damaged from the sheer idiocy of it I won't even realize I can't have a coherent thought anymore.

"THEIR WAS NEVER AND ICE AGE. IF THEIR WAS ALL LIFE WOULD BE GONE."

Um, an ice age doesn't mean that the ENTIRE planet was covered with ice, just that the planet experienced colder temperatures than we currently do. There would still be warm weather at the equator. And I know this is from AOL, but it's "there" not "their."

"TELL ME OF ANY ANIMAL THAT CAN LIVE IN THE ICE FOR 1000'S OF YEARS."

Polar bears, penguins, and I suspect woolly mammoths.

"NAME ME ANY RACE OF MAN THAT CAN LIVE ON ICE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS."

Eskimos?

Animals that could survive an ice age? Well, pretty much most animals in the arctic and antarctic.

And as for the ice age not existing.... We have the preserved frozen woolly mammoths. We win.

Okay. While we're on the topic of possible/impossible, care to explain to me how the world could be flooded with more water than is at all present on the planet, on a boat that cannot possibly hold 2 of EVERY creature (That's not even getting into the 2 of each unclean and 7 of each clean stuff...) and after drifting for how long days in the stratosphere the waters recede on a planet that must be devoid of plant life by now, due to everything being drowned, and denied even the slightest bit of sunlight.

There are lots of animals that can live in cold climates, like polar bears, and seals, and penguins, and other things.

*Sigh!*

None. No species of animal can live in the ice for thousands of years, except possibly the snow flea.

I'm sorry, are you trying to tell us that you think the human race survived the Ice Age by being frozen? Like Christopher Lloyd in "Suburban Commando"?

"I was FROZEN today!!"?

No.

Just...no.

Man survived by adapting, cockstain. Developing things like clothes, immobile shelter, and my personal favourite, and something as a Canadian I would sorely like to do one day, MOVING SOMEWHERE WARMER!!

As for other animals, most of the survivors were mammals, so that was a big help. Mammoths, wooly rhinos, smilodons, Irish Elk, all lived during the Ice Age, and most lived after it.

The physical landscape of my country begs to differ. Try visiting Northumberland and the Lake District you see many features that were left behind by the ice.

No animal can live for thousands of years. Very, very few live more than hundred years.

Polar bears and penguins can't live on ice, but they survived sharing Noah's Ark with a zillion other animals?

Yeah, if you say so.

polar bears, seals, emperor penguins, that's three, I'm sure wikipedia has a list of animals that live near the poles.
