[Commenting on an article critcal of the Creation Museum]

"...monument to ignorance and irrationality"? Creation, which is proven with every birth, is ignorant and irrational? Evolution has never been proven once and the amount of faith it takes to believe in it is staggering. The final statement appears to apply only to the author of those words.

Proven with avery birth?

What? All a birth proves is that somebody got fucked.

Creation, which is proven with every birth

So, during every pregnancy god comes down to earth to personally assemble the human being that finally comes out of the womb?

Well, why then don´t we find any signs of divine intervention at pregnancy, but rather see that everything happening at pregnancy ois the result of natural processes?
Neither we see any divine mouth, breathing life into the fetus, nor do we see it being assembled out of earth by the hand of god (or created out of a rib)

;)

"Creation, which is proven with every birth, is ignorant and irrational?"

You would have produced better analogy if you have gone with:

"Creation, which is proven with every person making a shit, is ignorant and irrational?"

but hey, it's a shitty thought anyway. /Puns

Stop regurgitating your pastor's lines, Bryan. Makes you look bad.

The Creation "Museum" is wasting land we can use for a real museum.

I'll join the crowd in asking the question, how exactly does a birth "prove" your notion of "creation"?

As for the Creation Museum, why not consider it a bizarre art exhibit?... After all, not everything that claims to be something (serious science, in this case) has to be taken as such.

Creation, which is proven with every birth

That's actually called procreation and despite the name it's not an argument for creation.

Dr. Novakaine

Dear Bryan Potteiger,

Please stop pretending you know anything about evolution.

Sincerely,
Dr. Novakaine

On another note, I'm getting tired of this "there's no evidence for evolution" business. Mountains of evidence have been provided; you assholes just look at it and say "that's not evidence" and then move the standard yet again. And yet you continue to maintain that Creationism is "proven" without ONE SINGLE SOLITARY SHRED OF EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT IT. You can't have it both ways.

My favorite part is the the "It takes more faith to believe in evolution" argument. When they make that claim they are basically saying that we have greater and stronger faith than they do. At least that's how it always sounds to me.

If it's such a valid and scientific place of learning, why does it have a room (possibly rooms, the videos I saw weren't that great) that criticizes everything not-fundie and has nothing to do with creation?

There are mountains of evidence supporting evolution. There are none supporting creationism and that creation museum is a waste of money that should have been spent of something else like a real education.

Creation is ignorant and irrational? Yes, next question.
Evolution is not a faith-based theory, it's a scientific theroy, that is validated, not proven. As new evidence and new ideas surface, the theory is revised and updated. The Theory of Evolution is evolving, all the time, just as Nature.

That which can not be questioned, can not be made better, it's stagnant, lifeless, outdated.

For the last time just because you say its never been proven doesn't change the fact that it has!

Genetic mutations, most of which are harmless are present at birth in every living thing. Beneficial ones may be advantageous over others- allowing some to survive more than others, thus natural selection. Therefore, evolution is proven at birth.

Let's ignore, for the moment, the fact that every birth is a testament to the evolutionary process.

Let's also ignore the mountains of corroborationg evidence to support evolutionary theory.

Let's even ignore the total absence of evidence in favour of the creationist fairytale.

Are you saying that your faith isn't as strong as an atheist's? 'Cos that's what it looks like to me.

The 'Creation Museum' follows the theme park 'The Holy Land' [built by Jews for Jesus & now run by Trinity Broadcasting] on places I would love to go if I could get a free pass.
I won't give them my money, but would love to know how long it would take to get kicked out.
