I am so glad the Lord led me to this post. Whenever I read people saying that they are praying for God to come take them now in the Rapture, it makes me realize maybe I am not going off the deep end. I have been practically begging Jesus to come and rescue His sheep. I keep, literally looking up and then I question myself. Am I loosing my mind? It is compforting to listen to all of you guys. I am not the only nutcase that some family members and others think i am.

I may be a little worn down by job hunting right now, but I still have a job that will get me through until things get better. Today the weather has cooled some, so it's beautiful out there, so I'm looking forward to getting some spring cleaning done, catching the latest Harry Potter flick this afternoon, and counting the days until football season begins. And my mom called last night to say my uncle was coming in from Florida in a couple months, and they're planning a big family gathering, which with my family is always fun. Little things, but still worth looking forward to.

Yeah, it's so much better to be a fundie christian, crying and miserable, and keeping your life in a holding pattern, all because some imaginary being hasn't come yet to whisk you away to some imaginary place.

Geez, get out and live a little, people. If God really has chosen you, then he'll find you. He's all-knowing, remember?

If you have been reading your Bible, which most people in RR don't do because they think they know what it says already, you would have read that Jesus Christ is to return at a time when no one suspects it. In other words, it's supposed to be a suprise when He returns, not when you think crap is beginning to hit the fan."

The really funny thing with that part is that since there are always Christers convinced that Jeebus is coming any time now, logically he'll never return, or at least not until Xianity is dead and forgotten. Pointing this to a fundie may be a good way to give him a mental Blue Screen of Death... :P
