This might be the most cruel thing I have read in quite a while. What about the rape victim? Is she just a piece of meat to be offered up? Pay to the father? He was not harmed! He sure as hell feels emotional pain, but he is not the primary victim here. And where will the rapist find shekels to pay with? Is that currency used today anywhere?
If he rapes an ugly woman, he has himself to blame, that statement is pure nonsense. So, only pretty women will be raped in the future? Nice one there, little Alan. Rape is not primarily about sex, it's about violence and power.
So, all that society is, is a way to keep rapists in check? Good one... As only a very small amount of men are rapists, it seems like too much hassel for just a few sickos.

Can he get his silver back, or is he obliged to rape and marry the victim all over again? If "she's" a transvestite, does he have to wait until she's dressed in girl clothes, or can he just rape away, regardless of the cross-dresser's sexual orientation and attire?
