The funny thing is that this is exactly what President Obama hasn't been doing; he's spent pretty much all his time in office so far working his fingers to the bone--and a decent chunk of his effort has been spent cleaning up some of the titanic messes the last administration left behind. Mind you, I think he could be doing a far better job in some areas, but it's not like he's been clearing brush at his Crawford ranch in lieu of actually doing something constructive. *ahem*
