Atheists, how did leap year occur?
Because a day is not exactly 24 hours, and a year is not exactly 365 days. In order to keep a static calender it is necessary to add an extra day every forth year to make up for the time deficit caused by the the fact that neither the rotation, nor orbit of the earth breaks down to an exact number of 60 minute hours
In Bible, it says in the book of Joshua that God stopped Sun in the sky which did not move until Israelites won a war. It means, the rotation of the earth was stopped for sometime
If the earth simply stopped moving then the war would be the least of the Iraelites worries. The sheer amount of energy that would need to be expended to stop a planets rotation or to restart that rotation would be so great that the entire surface would likely be reduced to molten rock, if it didn't just destroy the planet outright.
which caused extra time requirement for the earth to finish its regular rotation around the sun, thus causing extra time added to the whole period of 365 days.
That doesn't even make sense. First off it's just a rehash of the "NASA finds a 'missing' day" urban legend. Secondly even if such an event did happen it would not effect the year in such a way as to require a leap year every four years. It's just complete and utter bullshit, and on top of that it's not even original bullshit.
You see, everything is true in Bible when scientifically explore each of its incidents
You mean like the great scientific proof in the bible that all insects have only four legs rather than the 6 that we see them with. There is no actual science in the bible, just people like you trying to either twist science or twist scripture to try to make it say what you have already decided it does. I can't tell if you do this because you honestly just don't understand science, or out of some infantile desire to think that you already have all the answers.
