And I guess you will keep ignoring my posts that bring out the differences between the two, which make for a different molicular structure. So I'll be more direct.

Questions:
1) Is the solution you work with under more the one atmosphere of pressure?
2) Is this pressure used to holding the bonding of the extra oxygen molecule, also used in the chemical you work with?

Did you know that liquid oxygen is blue? So extra oxygen in water would do what?
