[A girl is asking for advice after being raped by her boyfriend]
you're in a consensual relationship....I don't think its technically rape though it is inconsiderate. You also admit to not stopping him. I imagine in a rape there is a lot of fighting back and saying no. I probably would not classify this as rape just a rude bf.

It's still rape asshole. Don't really know the details of the situation, and yeah whatever happened is probably not nearly as traumatic as some stranger breaking into your house and violently forcing you against your will, but there are still boundaries, even in a committed relationship. If those boundaries are crossed without permission, it's sexual assault.
You know, I usually come to this website to laugh at retards, but this quote - it's so wrong, it's not even funny.
Rape = non-consensual sex. End of story.
This person is a woman, or at least that is what the avatar looks like. I have looked at beccatoo's other answers and nothing seems extraodinarily fundie.
I think this person is just very ignorant about your rights in a relationship, espically an abusive one at that.
It's not rape if he yells surprise.
However, there is still some debate over the phrase "Peekaboo, I'm in you".

Why can't these people understand if one person says no but the sex happens anyway, it's rape? Period! Relationships don't matter.

Well, did she let him know she didn't want it? If not, it isn't really rape...
1. He took advantage of a known weakness in your mental health.
2. He pushed you for days
3. You are allowed to say no at any time
4. Once you say no and he doesn't stop, it's rape
Call the police. Have the bastard charged and sent up for a couple of years. Let him find out what rape feels like.
"rude bf"?
rude Boy Friend?
rude Butt Fuck?
It's rape if she didn't want to have sex, and she said no, and her boyfriend forced himself on her anyway.
Rape = no consent. (The song "Date Rape" by Sublime comes to mind.)
beccatoo is an ignorant asshole.
Reporting the rape probably wouldn't do any good. Rape cases have a less than 5% conviction rate. Reporting it can be as, if not more traumatic than the rape itself. Counseling would probably help deal with the trauma.
Some of you should really read the site's own FAQ. A fundie doesn't have to be espousing religious ideology. A fundie is:
... (an) entity characterized by one or more of the following: an extreme lack of rationality, fondness of logical fallacies, repeated use of emotional appeals, rigid adherence to Bronze Age mythology, endorsement of pseudoscientific nonsense, opposition to the First Amendment, bigotry and discriminatory attitudes towards minority groups ...
Rape is rape, even if you've been married to the guy for 20 years and had 8 kids with him. It's not sex, it's violence, why can't you idiots get that through your heads?
How about you get raped, beccatoo? Seriously, you should have a guy ask you for sex, and even though you tell him no he still wants it and tries to have sex with you. People like you sicken me. Ignorant piece of shit.
Normally I am a big fan of the funny and smart things said on FSTDT, but in this thread, I'm frankly disturbed.
Threatening rape on a rape apologist makes you a fucking rape apologist too.
I agree that people like beccatoo are total scum, but threatening beccatoo with rape (either by being the one to carry out the deed or by expressing wishes that she is subjected to rape by another force) kind of makes you just as scummy.
The hypocrisy, it burns.
A consensual relationship does not mean there's a standing "yes" order with regards to sex. As soon as the word "no" is said, that's it. It doesn't matter if standing they're naked and covered in strawberry jam. "No" means nothing is allowed to happen. Do not pass Go.
She should this turn this dickhead over to the police.
Inconsiderate? Inconsiderate is saying something hurtful.
Rape is non-consensual sex. If she said "No" then she did not consent, did she? Asshole.
Gah! Get some perspective, beccatoo. You don't sign away your right to bodily autonomy when you enter into a steady relationship. For fucks sake. That's like saying driving is consenting to crash, so your insurer can't be held liable for any repairs because you "consented" to the accident by getting in the car. It's bullshit.
Oh wow, a female rape apologist. She said no, he forced himself on her, that's rape. That isn't consensual, you fucking twit! Doesn't matter how long they were going out. And the word no only had to be said once, fighting isn't part of it.
@jc: There is some fundie -- the old testament has something along the lines of "if it's in a civilized area and she doesn't scream, it doesn't count as rape, she's considered to have done it willingly, and both she and the man are to be executed unless they're married". If she doesn't scream and it's far from civilization, though, she gets off scot-free and only the man gets killed.
I don't think its technically rape though it is inconsiderate.
The law disagrees. If she files a complaint, the boyfriend will get seven years and be registered as a sex offender.
Um... The act itself was nonconsentual. She didn't want it, but he forced it onto her, that's rape. She was probably unable to stop him because he overpowered her, ever thought of that? No, you didn't. You whackjobs never consider the woman in situations like these.
Rape is defined as unwanted sexual assault. It doesn't matter if the bf/gf relationship is "consensual" or "engagement" or even "marriage" - if the assault is unwanted, it is rape. I suggest that the raped girl file a police report and complain to authorities, while being checked out at the hospital to make sure she's physically okay.
Confused?
