[various quotes from one thread]

[yes, had I continued with the pregnancy, I would not have lived]

I scanned many of your earlier posts and I can offer sympathy for your many troubles and your confusion, nonetheless whether one doctor or 100 doctors said that (in their opinion) you would die during the pregnancy, they offered their OPINION. You chose to decide life/death in place of allowing God to act in that regard. Your CHOICE was to kill your child and "save" yourself. You acted in the place of God's action. That's the entire story. I hope you are able to return to faithfulness to the teaching of the Church ASAP.

[It´s much the same issues as when there´s a fallopian tube pregnancy - the same arguements emerge. The fetus doesn´t have any possible chance at life, and is endangering the mother´s life by continuing the pregnancy, certain death if the pregnancy advances far.]

Many differences in place - and still abortion is NOT allowed. Get back to me when you've become a moral theologian.

Would you say that it's better for one martyr to to die when two were called to die?

A few years a girlfriend got pregnant and we agreed to keep it.

We chose to decide life/death but god killed the fetus. God acted in place of my action. That's the entire story.
God is a baby-murdering prick!

@ catharina ... I'm guessing if you ever get cancer you will not seek treatment. I mean, if you have cancer it IS god's will and all. Why would you seek to thwart his plan for your "martyrhood" by seeking medical attention to save your life against god's will? You goddam Jesuss-ass-sucking, sub-moronic twat. GDIAFF!

It's nice to see the misogynists showing their true colors. I just wish they would stop doing it so often.

You know, usually when the mother doesn't live, the baby doesn't live either. Don't you think it's better for one person to live rather than have both die?

"whether one doctor or 100 doctors said that (in their opinion) you would die during the pregnancy, they offered their OPINION"

An "opinion" based on decades of hundreds of thousands of doctors caring for millions of pregnancies and noting which problems with pregnancies usually kill the fetus and/or mother, which ones of those can be remedied and save both, and which (as yet) cannot. They don't just go "oh, I have no reason for it but I think you're going to die from this pregnancy, better abort!"

Yes, their opinion based on decades at the very least of medical observation. A doctor will not just go "You know...you should abort." If they recomment terminating a pregnancy, it's usually for a DAMN good reason.

You chose to decide life/death in place of allowing God to act in that regard. Your CHOICE was to kill your child and "save" yourself.
Yes, it's so reprehensible to remove a parasite (As it has no chance of survival beyond being a fetus at that point, that IS all it is, honey...) for the sake of one's own survival.

You acted in the place of God's action.
The same God that allowed what was supposed to be a blessing to her to grow into something that threatened her very life? That God?

That's the entire story. I hope you are able to return to faithfulness to the teaching of the Church ASAP.
Yeah, yeah, and she repents, but guess what? She's alive to repent. To have another child. To enjoy her life, which is a far cry from what would happen with your method.

Many differences in place - and still abortion is NOT allowed. Get back to me when you've become a moral theologian.
Get back to me when you have a firm grasp on the value of human life, and simple math. One potential life lost is better that two lives lost.

Would you say that it's better for one martyr to to die when two were called to die?
Doesn't martyrdom usually denote a cause? What cause is involved with letting yourself die for a fetus that will die with her? That's not martyrdom, that's suicide.

My mother had to terminate a pregnancy in order to save her life (the child wouldn't of lived anyway). Afterwards, she had me.

Oops, guess like my existence fucks over the Pro-Life argument. I exist because of an abortion, or is my life not precious too?

so you admit you'd rather kill a few people than step one inch outside your moral bounds. even though the end result is unchanged anyway.

Well, if you're invoking Khorne, from Warhammer 40K, I might argue in this case, it's closer to the Imperium sacrificing 10,000+ Psykers a day to keep the Emperor's bloated carcass from dying...

Funnily enough, I do know of other major religions that are anti-abortion EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF ENDANGERING THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER because when the mother is in danger, it is very likely that the child is in danger of dying as well.

My son's adoptive mother had two ectopic pregnancies before I chose her to raise my child. I met her and her husband - a sweet couple who desperately wanted a baby. I didn't think she deserved to die trying for one. Luckily her church didn't either, which made them far more moral than this evil bitch.

So, you're not wearing seat belts or helmets, you're not looking left and right before crossing a street, you let your kids play with knives and chemicals? After all, these are even more to act in the place of God's action.

The choice was to remove this blastocyst and be able to later go through a more healthy pregnancy and actually have a baby, instead of dying with the blastocyst.
