Something has to exist before it can be denied.
I deny that there is a $100 underneath my keyboard!
[looks under keyboard]
Damn.

"Something has to exist before it can be denied."
Uhhh, no. Do you believe in the tooth fairy? I didn't think so.
As for "all the proof they need," I need just a little more proof than "God is in every baby's smile and in every flower and rainbow" or some crap like that. And no, the bible isn't proof.

I deny the existance of Santa Claus
I deny the existance of the Easter Bunny
I deny the existance of the Tooth Fairy
I deny the existance of flying unicorns
Actually, it is pretty easy to deny something that never existed in the first place.

I do not believe that atheists want proof before believing
You just don't get it, do you?

We don't believe in God because we have no proof that he exists. You can twist logic and play silly word games from now until Cairo hosts the winter Olympics, but that is all there is to it.
That the Bible says there is a God is not proof in any manner or form whatsoever that there is in fact a God. Of course we've heard of God, but we've seen not one shred of evidence to suggest that he is more than an enduring (sadly) figment of mankind's imagination. Like the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny.
