So, both sides have nothing?
That makes them pretty equal in my book.

Another from the tired old fundie school of, "I've made up my mind, let me ignore the facts."

The Duelist
So, in other words, "I've deluded myself into believing that only I have the Truth, and reject all evidence to the contrary, even though I ignore most of it."
You are very amusing.

Athiests cannot provide evidence that God does not exist. They can only demonstrate the lack of evidence for his existence. Try looking at that instead.

What Rubber Chicken said. You can't prove something doesn't exist, specially when the entire universe (and other dimensions yet)is the field of topic.
Science has to prove all it's claims but the religious argument is always the same:
"we don't need proof, we have faith"
Well, that's fine for you lot but many of us need something to substantiate such a outrageous claim. Specifically those of us who have checked out the origins of the Bible and found it to be a compilation of legends, fractured history and myths from many cultures.
You'd think a comic book fan would pick up on that what with the rewriiting, recreating of all the major characters since the 70s

There is evidence that religious texts like the Bible are not infallable.
However, like the other comments here state, while science has evidence to disprove religion, they have no evidence that there is no God. The existence of God puts aetheists and theists at a stalemate.

what???
"Yes, it has occured to me."
I'm calling bullshit.
"But I have rejected the notion based on Faith."
Bye bye, brain. I didn't use you anyway.
"I'm nothing without my Faith."
This is probably the only true statement in this post.
"Besides, I've examined the evidense provided by the athiests that God does not exist, and I have found it sorely lacking."
In other words: "I have a predisposition to believe in fairy tales because I'm an idiot who would rather not have to do the actual work because it's so, so hard."
