What is in this health care bill? Forced End-of-Life counseling. Its not called that, it has a pretty name, but every five years American seniors will endure a forced counseling session to discuss assisted suicide. Knowing the corruption that exists in this current administration, I can only imagine the vast number of forged names on suicide permission forms.

Also in this bill abortion clinics where procedures are100% paid for by the govt. No out of pocket costs and state laws like parental consent are nullified. People who chose to keep Down’s syndrome babies will very likely to be lied to and told the mother’s life is at stake, an abortion is the only way out. Lies are part of this socialist plan to eliminate the ‘useless eaters.” Adults with Down’s Syndrome will be denied life saving procedures.

People with expensive medical conditions will be denied health care. Its already the law of the land. You have no idea if this will mean YOU a few months down the road. If you develop conditions that require any expensive drugs or procedures at all, you will die.

That is the crux of Obama care. If you need care, it will be denied to you.

If this law had anything to do with health care, congress would not have exempted themselves from the same care that we are going to receive. This is about control over the people. Govt mandated granting or denial of health care. Need a life saving procedure? You need to pay off your Democratic congressman. Don’t have the money, your daughter looks very nice. The congressman will give her back to you in a week, after which you will gain your procedure. This health care system is designed for corruption. The people must beseech the elite for care, and the elite will grant a boon, after suitable compensation, of course.

"That is the crux of Obama care. If you need care, it will be denied to you. "

Really? Sounds just like the system we're already using.

Funny how people are so afraid of having decent health care that they will make up shit like this and spread it around.

1. Mandatory reviews for old people? What, you think Democrats don't get old too - or have older relatives we'd like to keep around?

2.Nothing to say about abortion but lies, lies, lies and lies.

3.Panels reviewing whether you're worth saving? We have those now. They're called insurance companies.

4. Congress does use the same medical system we all do. While in office they can go to Walter Reed, but eventually they - and their families anytime - face the same things we all do.

4. Get your head out of your pet goat's ass, leave Lower Alabama for the first time in your life, and look at every other industrialized country (and many less-developed ones). They all have government-backed health care, and once you account for the disparity of wealth, every fucking one does a better job than we do.

"Forced End-of-Life counseling. Its not called that, it has a pretty name, but every five years American seniors will endure a forced counseling session to discuss assisted suicide."

It's called hospice care, and it has nothing to do with suicide. It's a system for keeping a terminally ill patients comfortable in their own homes (or managed care facilities) and having their end of life wishes respected (e.g. no feeding tubes). I know, not nearly as sinister as you'd like, but it's been around for years, and like all other areas of health care, Obama simply wants to make it more readily available to everyone. Dumbass.

The whole prostituting-your-children-for-medical-procedures was a nice touch though.

"If this law had anything to do with health care, congress would not have exempted themselves from the same care that we are going to receive."

If you weren't such a troglodyte, I'd point out that it's been said that this healthcare bill is nearly identical to the one that congress people use.

Ahh yes, implied evils that private corporations are just as capable of doing. Except the government doesn't have the same pressure from shareholders to deny claims.

But that doesn't fit into your masturbation fantasy of being on a government hit list, does it?

Oh, you mean like how it is RIGHT NOW??

So the government's going to enter the insurance market with a plan of its own. You know, there's always the chance that this could help the rest of the industry clean up its act in an effort to compete efficiently. AFAIK, no one is going to do anything to eliminate private health insurance services. There is simply going to be a government alternative for people who can't afford to go private--you know, kind of like how it is with education.

Congressmen eager to kiss the asses of constituents like Mr. Mannn are the reason that almost 50 million people still can't afford to go to the doctor. >:(

Because in Canada we're always offing our old people. I guess my 83 year old father is pretty damn agile. Blind, crippled, COPD and he can still duck those "death squads".

Oh, and if a foetus is discovered to have downs, it is already told to the parents, who decide whether or not to abort. But most health insurance wont cover any issues the kid has, as downs is a "preexisting condition".

I really don't understand how anyone who has to pay for their own insurance can be against this program.

But then again, Mr. Mann is a drama queen among drama queens, so meh.

So, the government will be in charge of granting or denying care? Instead of the insurance companies?

The insurance companies are just that. Companies. They are run to make a profit. They are run for the sole purpose of making money for investors and employees. The more care they deny, the more money goes in someone's pocket.

The government, on the other hand, has shown that it doesn't really care if it's making or losing money. In fact, they spend money for things that no one else would. That's part of providing for the general welfare. Such as roads, and police, and libraries, and parks, etc.

Insurance company, out to take in as much and spend as little as possible.

Or government, out to take in and provide for the citizens.

Which one is more likely to deny care?

Please think for yourself Mr Mannn, look at what you have become because you don't. You're more absorbed by the hype by conservatives rather than knowledgable of the unbiased facts that are out there if you actually took time to search them out.

Because of one sly comment from Sarah Palin, you believe that Obama's health care plan is of something like out of the book The Giver mixed with Nazi Germany. Even if she does actually believe it and it isn't really a sly comment, that still doesn't mean you shouldn't think for yourself.

Or it means, more precisely, that if you have a serious health problem, you don´t have to be rich to survive, like in Europe. Of course, you haven´t travelled that much.

No one will be discussing assisted suicide. People with Down Syndrome won't be denied life-saving procedures. As for abortion, it should be covered.

By the way, that entire third paragraph? That's what's happening NOW, in case you didn't pull your head out of your ass long enough to figure out why people wanted health care reform in the first place.

But I'm guessing you don't actually care about that. You don't care about the lives of people who can't afford health care and get dropped like nothing; in fact, you want to see them die. Because it makes you feel happy and entitled when you have it better than other people and no one can give them any chance to make something of themselves, doesn't it? That's why you spread these lies, isn't it? So you can point and laugh at the have-nots, saying "I got mine, you can go fuck yourselves!" and give them the finger as they lie on their deathbeds. Some American you are, asshole.

1. End Of Life counselling is done to people who have terminal diseases. Its to go up to old people and say. Hey I understand you have cancer but have you thought of NOT getting the treatment because the treatment for cancer once started is MISERABLE and you would actually probably live longer without the cancer drugs making you sicker and taxing your fragile immune system. Instead go out and buy a packet of cigars and kick back and relax...

2. Down's syndrome is a MILD genetic disorder. Look up Harlequin Type Icthyosis and then tell me you can allow a child to be born in such horrendous pain. If we wanted to get rid of useless eaters they would have a "no poor people" clause for everything killing poor people.

3. The point of socialised medicine is people get even expensive medical treatment. The thing is people need less expensive medical treatments in socialised medicine since their problems are SOLVED EARLIER.

Disgusting lies. Government health care won't be perfect because nothing ever is, but it should be better than what we have now. And you will still have the CHOICE between private and government health insurance coverage, shit-for-brains.

My mother, with some serious medical conditions, has bought into this right-wing health nonsense. It makes me want to scream!
