The Founding Fathers were either Democrat-Republicans like Thomas Jefferson or James Madison, or like George Washington, politically neutral. I think you'll find that it's been Democrat presidents that have been the Constitution's most ardent defenders. After all, who was it who said about the Constitution?:

I'm British, and the fact I know the above to rebut everything you said says so much about so-called 'patriotic' Americans.
