Hm. Fundamentalism usually wouldn't put much stock in anything Hellenic. What do we call this, beyond simple credulity?
(We're REALLY in trouble if Total Science believes this sort of thing of the Aeneid...)

Firsthand account of fairy tales with SOME historical facts here and there, yes those would be good examples.

Firsthand historical accounts, hmmm.
That would only work if everyone participated in whatever it is that you're talking about.

I like how Moses was present for the creation of the world, even before the first man was created. Wonder what Moses was O_O

I swear, there are some people out there who actually think the word "irony" means "something to do with iron."

Didn't Moses also write about his own death? The guy is like horse shit; He's everywhere!
Maybe that stuff wasn't written by Moses, but by another guy with the same name...

"The Bible, Moses et al.
The Iliad, Homer"
Uh, neither of those are first hand. Moses may not have existed to begin with and if he did he certainly didn't write the OT considering it mentions not only his death but his burial. And that whole first verse of Genesis would have been a bitch to be an eye witness to.
"Glad I could report news to you."
I know sarcasm doesn't always come through in text but it's so thick here that you could cut it with a knife and you've somehow still managed to miss it.

Homer did not witness the siege of Troy and Moses did not witness his own funeral.

I must have missed that verse in Torah that goes 'I, Moishe, being of sound mind, have resolved to write the story of my life. I was born to humble Jewish parents in Egypt ...'

Also included in 'Total Science's' 'first hand accounts' is Velikovsky's "Worlds in Collision".
