Evidence that men and women normally have the same amount of ribs: Just count them
Let's look at YOUR evidence.
1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
What this has to do with ribs is beyond me
John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
Still nothing about ribs
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Nothing about ribs
John 10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Ribs? ...anyone? hellooooo
John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Anything about ribs there?
Last one is too broad but trust me, there's nothing about ribs.
The idiotic belief that men have one less ribs comes from THIS verse
Genesis 2:21-23
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
If you believe the myth, then you have reason to believe that ADAM had one less rib than he started with. However considering...
A) he may have had one more, making them even
B) it never mentions how many ribs eve had either
C) Adam having a rib taken from him does not mean that all future men would be born without that particular rib
D) Carico is a giblet head.
