The BNP have often denied being a racist party.
But as a man dressed as U.S. president Barack Obama was put in stocks, the true colours of the party were clear for all to see.
The shocking scene was part of the BNP's annual Red, White and Blue festival which is taking place in Codnor, Derbyshire this weekend.

The only thing racist about this is the fact that the BNP are behind it. Otherwise it's just a guy dressed as Obama in stocks. Now if it were, say, a crowd in white hoods doing a mock lynching with a noose and pitchforks, then it'd be way, way worse than this.
@LDM LMAO! I didn't even notice that.
The BNP is the UK's national embarrassment, considering they actually have seats in the EP now.
You'd think a major political party could afford an Obama mask that doesn't look like someone just repainted a Nixon mask.
If you're going to make yourself look even worse in public, you should at least put effort into it.
So why exactly is the BNP attacking the President.
From my understanding, this adminstration (Unlike that of Bush's adminstartion) has some what of a luke-warm/distant relationship with the U.K.

Context. The BNP is already known as a racist party. Furthermore, at the event at which this took place they distributed racist propaganda, and held a mock trial for a black doll (charging it with, among other things, "being black") and executed it. Someone present suggested finding a real one, since they were all guilty of the same things. Given the background (which is liked to in Doctor Fishcake's post), their motivation is probably not that he's US President.
Confused?
