The claim comes from here - http://www.mccl.org/Page.aspx?pid=516 - and is considerably misleading. It includes, for instance, abortions motivated by economic problems (ie, the mother could not afford to raise a(nother) child) as 'coerced' abortions.

This is actually accurate, within a few points. According to a May poll, 76% of Americans believe that abortion rights should be restricted (in some cases). However, using the same statistics, you can see that 75% of Americans believe that abortions should be legal (in some cases).
