Science cannot get around the fact that the universe needs a beginning.
They are not trying to either.
But something had to get it started
Maybe, but it's also quite possible that it was capable of doing so on it's own, without an external cause, nor is there any reason that any external cause would by default have to be the christian "god".
But they come up with all kinds of reasons and hypotheses to reason God out.
They don't try to "reason 'god' out", "god" simply doesn't, and cannot, factor into any equation because your notion of "god" simply isn't a quantafiable factor and has never been shown to have any demonstrable effects on physics.
But all fail.
They fail in your eyes alone, and that is only because for you success requires that your particular "god" to be acknowledged as having created and currently controlling everything, and science doesn't work in those narrow predefined parameters where the only correct answer is "god did it".
Some, like Steven Hawking even lie in their theories
I highly doubt you even understand his theories much less have the qualifications to determine whether or not his theories are in fact deliberate lies. And the only way you can shoehorn it in is by saying that every answer other than "Magic Man did it" is a deliberate lie, which is itself a lie on your part.
But the truth always bears out.
Yes it does, and it shows that you bear absolutely no regret or shame for both lying and bearing false witness against Dr. Hawking, and in the name you your "god" no less, the very same "god" that you believe has commanded you to not do either of those things.
And one day science will have to recant most of their notions.
Maybe so, but it won't be because of a discovery that "Magic Man done it", but rather more precisce and refined theories will take hold.
