Papabear, I wouldn't make that bet. He's clearly so deluded that he probably sweats his way through every illness praying as hard as his feeble body will let him that God will take away his \"sin\" (i.e., illness). And when he gets well, whether it takes a day or a month, he believes it worked, and that whatever suffering he endured was just a necessary penance for him to pay. People like that truly amaze and frighten me.

The answer being, because they do not know or understand the true problem or cause of sickness and disease.
Yeah... and someone with no qualifications other than not really reading the bible would know a lot more than someone who spent 4 years of their life in college. followed by 4 in med and 1 as an intern and another as a resident
