I like McDonald. However, I think he fails to make an important distinction between Jews and Yiddish people groups. As I understand it, the Jews described in the Bible's Old Testament were from the tribe of the Hebrews, who were descents of the Aryan race of India (which is the root race of all Indo-European cultures). There are very few pure-blooded Hebrews today. Most of the people we identify as 'Jews' are actually Yiddish. The Yiddish are not a Semitic race (hence, no anti-semitism need be implied), but a mongrelized European race similar to the Roman gypsies in some respects. When we talk about the Jews who control Hollywood, world banking, etc., we are generally thinking of Yiddish people and not Hebrews.

Out of all the things right wing assholes do, co-opting "America" and "patriotism" as if American ideals are automatically conservative ones--and as if people won't see through the ideological smokescreen--is probably the one that annoys me the most.

This is why MSU just needs to finally revoke this groups right to exist on campus based on the sheer racist nature of the organization. Trust me, I just graduated from MSU. Problem is the leaders of the group come from families with deep pockets who would sue the school instantly for doing such a thing.

CSULB is in my neighborhood, and is not a shit school. It's obviously not Ivy League, because it's publicly funded, so that people who can't afford private/Ivy League/UC schools can get a decent education, which they do. It's large and fairly well respected. College is like health care here; we pay through the nose, and most people are lucky if they can even afford a CSU. Doesn't mean the schools are shit.
Having said that, Very sorry to hear they have this nutcase on faculty, but most large universities have their handful of nutcase professors. CSULB is no exception.
