Just another reason I refuse to watch ABC or any of their affiliated channels. Promotion of such immorality is detrimental to our society. A man (or woman) that leaves their wife (or husband) like this is not to be commended, nor is it humorous, nor worthy of airtime. You hypocrites scream about Mark Sanford (and others), but gladly sit down to watch such a tasteless program. And yes, I lump the homosexual "family" nonsense in the same category.

If a man beats his wife, and she leaves him, why wouldn't she be commended? Marriage is a contract. If both parties don't fulfill their side of the agreement, cancel that shit.

I cold care less about Mark Sanford and his ilk except for the fact they like to tell others about how important family valies are and try and legislate those beliefs into law.

Oh no! Don't let the TV show that some people have marital problems, even though 50% of marriages end in divorce! Don't let the TV show people cheating on their spouses, even though the majority of the population has either done it or contemplated it!
And certainly don't show any of the fallout from a broken marriage, EVER. Because kids don't need to know that marriage is something you're supposed to think seriously about before committing. They don't need to know that if you marry the wrong person, you'll get into major arguments, sleep around, maybe even end up abusing (or abused by) your spouse, and regret all these things for the rest of your life.
Nope, kids don't need to know that it takes effort and honesty to keep a marriage strong. It just takes a man and a woman who look pretty, right?
People go on about Mark Sanford because he's yet another holier-than-thou "family values" hypocrite who has always promoted himself as a wholesome, Christian family man. He demanded that Bill Clinton resign and supported his impeachment because Clinton cheated on his wife, and then was caught doing the same fucking thing. Except, of course, when Sanford was caught, he had the nerve to compare himself to King David and refused to resign himself.
