She has to sue, just like Carrie Prejean is doing.
Let me get this straight. Because she couldn't even PRETEND to be tolerant of homosexuals, and demanded the writers rewrite the script, special for her, they are in the wrong?
She’s a great actress, and a pivotal character on the show. She is right about Carlotta’s character. Carlotta would betray her obvious Catholicism by going along with the plot line.
So...you know the character better than the writers do, eh?
Mauceri definitely has a case for religious discrimination.
Again, because the writers wouldn't pander to her, it's religious discrimination? Don't think so.
The other actors who have been on the show for 14 years should join in a boycott.
Perhaps the other actors realize that their paycheck is more important that self-righteously parading oneself around, in an attempt to preserve their own discriminatory beliefs (And yes, the basis behind her refusing to play the part is rooted in discrimination, so cut the bleeding martyr act. It's nauseating.)
The show has several openly gay characters now, and there are regular scenes of men embracing, kissing, and undressing with each other.
Just like it has had for heterosexuals for decades. Your point?
One of the gay guys is a cop, who is also sleeping with a woman.
Once again, bisexuals don't exist, I see...
I guess soap opera people don’t get AIDS or STDs.
You only realize that when it's gays screwing on Soaps? Jesus, with the sheer amount of sex that the straight couples do, hopping from bed to bed, it's a wonder all they seem to deal with is plot relevant pregnancies.
This is daytime TV!
Again, you don't complain when it's straight people fucking everyone else they can get ahold of, why is it suddenly a problem when it's homosexual plotlines? Fuuuuck.
