Actually, there's only a very small sect of humanity that sees no problem with bestiality. I'm one of those extreme liberals that's pretty okay with it (as long as the animal is not harmed in the process. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing with the possible animal abuse and all.), along with a few other unconventional sexual preferences. I know I'm a very rare species, though.

Actually, we have no problem between sex with sentient communicative consenting creatures. We look down on bestiality since the animal is non consenting and is not sentient and/or communicative.

Why are fundies so consumed with the idea of bestiality? Maybe I'm in the minority of atheists, but most days I don't ponder having sex with animals at all...not who's doing it, or if its ethical, or which animals would be best to have sex with*, or anything. I don't think that the word "bestiality" enters into my thoughts ever, except in instances where some fundie has brought it up. Maybe I'm missing the big picture, but do lots of people even have sex with non-human animals? I always assume that they don't, which makes the whole thing kind of a non-issue for me, but maybe I'm being naive.
