it's much, much more important to teach our children about salvation, walking with Christ and the message of the Bible than it is to indoctrinate them into "religion".

Like the ultra-Islamic Madrassas in Pakistan & Afghanistan are, and Becky Fischer's 'Kids On Fire School of Ministry' (as shown in the documentary film "Jesus Camp") wasn't? As Dr. Evil would say:

Religions have God(s)
Without that it's not a religion
A personal relationship with Jesus/God is not a religion in what way? Are you saying Jesus/God is not Jesus/God?
It's like saying Christians aren't Christians, that's how much sense it makes. Just because you've even recognized that the word religion carries negative aspects up the wazoo (oddly enough thats one of those negative aspects) doesn't me you can transfer it or deny it.
English is your friend, quit denying the meaning of words.
I take it the poster is trying to "rebrand" the process of religious indoctrination of young children, in order to avoid allegations of "brainwashing", such as the "Kid's On Fire School of Ministry" (which as depicted in the documentary Jesus Camp, seems to encourage idolatry, abeit in the form of a "standee", of the then current U.S President, George.W Bush...) .
Needless to say, he will be the first to scream about Muslim "indoctrination" of children, but be strangely silent about the Christian version...
It's really too bad you people couldn't take a walk with Jesus. If the stories are true it's the first real (and last) message of peace and brotherhood within the Bible.
Cause he's Mithra, bitch
It was a religion and so is yours unless you renounce your God now.
Confused?
