The people who [Jesus] healed were the ones who earnestly cried out to him and had faith in their hearts that he could heal them.
The same goes today, those that cry out to Jesus with a faithful heart knowing he can heal them are healed of whatever their sickness is (if you have strong faith this can include homosexuality, cancer, sin, and any trouble you are in) he will heal you according to your faith in him!
He's not going to just heal all the wicked and save them out of every trouble if they do not even believe in him and doubt his powers and continue to do and think evil continually! Only those that seek him!

So why isn't the world full of healthy Xians then? Perhaps because your are talking crap. If the above were true, any study (even poorly constructed Xian study) would be able to prove your assertion. Back in the real world, studies show no difference in the health of the religious versus the wider population.
Fail!
"He's not going to just heal all the wicked and save them out of every trouble if they do not even believe in him and doubt his powers and continue to do and think evil continually! Only those that seek him! "
Translation: "God is all-powerful and loves all of his children, but is not powerful enough to do anything at all for them unless they beg him to, in just the right way. "
But doctors will try their best to save you, regardless of race, gender, and guilt. What does that say about your Jesus?
And spontanious healing of terminal deseases happen only when there's been a serious misdiagnosas. In other words, never
Prayers also been tested against nothing and found to actual loose ground or be equal in outcome.
It seems like the answer you get is either "yes", "no" or "wait".
For some reasons, this is exactly what you'd expect with no god. How strange! ;-)
When we point out that if your story was true there would be no Christians stricken with any diseases (or markedly fewer than other religions) you say that god must have a reason for not healing them, or else they weren't real Christians.
In short, you make excuses.
So Jesus only heals people if they believe in him?
You know if Jesus really loved everyone he would heal people regardless of how they believed, and in fact they would be more likely to believe in him truthfully after he miraculously healed them. But no, he's a fucking asshole.

So your jebus is a judgemental cocksucker. Even though the fucker's cloud-fairy father is supposed to have the final word.
Got it.
This reminds me when I went to the hospital to see my soon to be brother-in-law who lives in the city where my fiancee and I go to school. When I was sitting in the on call room, which was next to the radiology area, I heard a woman's voice in a sing-song fashion say "Hallelujah my arm is healed, praise be to God for healing it!" and saw this woman leave the floor for somewhere else. Likely to get the cast cut off.
I asked the radiologist (one of my brother in law friends) what that was about and he jokingly told me "We doctors do all the work, and they thank god. But if we fail, and they die or we can't do anything, they decide it's our fault. Why don't they sue God instead?"
Yet this never happens, why is that?
No true Scotsman in 5, 4, 3....
@#1042530: "Mr. Deity's" point exactly. "If somebody prays to me and things go well, who gets the credit? Me! But if they pray to me and things don't go well, who gets the blame? Not me! ... I'm gonna mess with that?"
So Pascal's Wager can't work after all?
Nah, ya can't just hedge the bet, you must be the one, TRUE fundie.
Faith healing FTL.
My aunt was a devout Christian, and more importantly, a good, caring person. There's a reason she was my favorite aunt. I loved her very much.
Guess what? For the last 6 years of her life, she had recurring cancers in various different parts of her body. They'd think she was cured, then a few months later, it would come back, and they'd have to start all over again.
Then it came back in her brain. She died from it, and she was only about 50 or so. She has grandkids who never got to see her. She has family who miss her. Where the fuck was your god then, Colorado? Where was this idealized "keeps everyone good from being sick, but gives illness and death to the wicked" god?
I believe there is a god, yes. I just don't believe it's anything like Colorado's, simply because the world doesn't fucking work that way!
The ULTIMATE "healing" would be to cure someone who is DEAD. Like...oh, I dunno...how about LAZARUS? Jebus raised Lazarus from the dead.
I want to know how Lazarus "earnestly cried out to him." The dude had been dead for four days! Yet, he was healed of whatever killed him!
Of course, this healing didn't last. Because, at some point, I'm quite sure that Lazarus DIED AGAIN!!!
"(if you have strong faith this can include homosexuality, cancer, sin, and any trouble you are in)"
excuse me doctor? i seem to have a bad case of sin.
I've been an atheist all my life. When I was diagnosed with cancer, I didn't think, even for a second, of asking any god or other mythological construct to help. I was treated with modern medicine by healthcare professionals who couldn't care less about my beliefs or lifestyle and was cured. Strange eh?
Confused?
