Are you a scientific heathen?... 'Scientific heathen' has such a nice ring to it, don'tcha think? Read & refute 'The Genesis Flood', if you consider yourself a scientific heathen. It's a huge, fat, veddy scientific book, irrefutable by scientific heathens or anyone else, for that matter. Or dismiss this as facetious, if your imploded brain will allow such a thing.

I should think that referred to people who quote some science they have to accept in order to refute science they dislike? Like quoting the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics to show evolution is unpossible.

Not really. If it’s refuting religious myths by using science, then ‘heathen’ is sufficient. Or ‘realist.’ Or maybe ‘nerd.’

But i do not.

It’s a 1950’s book that’s fully in accordance with a book that says the Earth is flat, insects are not alive, and the sky is solid.

A reviewer on Amazon says it was outdated when written, and the 50th anniversary reissue didn’t update any of the inaccuracies.
