Should have stopped reading at "i didn't read" but I didn't. Now my brain hurts.
So, one man elected by the populace is fascism...
...and you propose to defeat fascism by one man "taking charge" by assumed divine decree...

He's not calling Obama a fascist, guys. He's saying fascism is good. He is explicitly endorsing Christofascism. No rebuttal is necessary on my part; his argument essentially kills itself.

the average person is a blithering idiot. so why then, would it make sense to have a mob of blithering idiots elect a government???! these blithering idiots are naturally going to elect a government which is also full of blithering idiots!
Considering the fact that the american voters reelected Bush for a 2nd term, I have to conclude that Navaros is correct here ;)
One has to wonder, why Obamawas elected then, however...
maybe because this time the choice of the Republicans for their candidates for vice-/president convinced even blithering idiots that a republican government would be harmful for the nation.

Ah, the old Benevolent Dictator argument. But if you grant all power to your dictator, without let or hindrance, you have effectively also granted the same power to his deputy ... and the deputy's deputies ... and so on right down to the cop on the street corner. Are they all benevolent, too?

> think of Facism as a game of "Lemmings". the average person is a Lemming. The Facist Leader is the guy who controls the Lemmings for their own best interests to be met (ie: the "player" in a game of Lemmings).
And hits the Armageddon button in the end to get rid of the lemmings he himself turned into Blockers.
I find the analogy particularly apt.

I agree with the first part. Except that usually only the most blithering of idiots is ever foolhardy enough to think running a country is a good idea. The ones who have a lick of sense find a more sane occupation. At least with elections, we get enough people to prevent most head-asplodingly stupid things.
An enlightened tyrant would overall be the best governor.

Who gets to decide who's the genius and give them their power, without the consent of the 'lemmings'? With Fascism, it's generally the most ruthless and sociopathic who force their way to the top, and they're unlikely to care enough about the Average Joe Blithering to waste an umbrella skill when he's approaching a sheer drop.

The fatuous ideas and garbled thoughts of another blithering idiot who needs to be told what to do and how to think and how to live and how not to be evil. Navaros the below average blithering idiot expounds his idiotic views, views based, unsurprisingly, on his own stupidity and his own gullibility in desiring to live like an ancient middle eastern desert dweller and to follow the strictures in the book that extols the evil of the ancient middle eastern desert dweller's God.

No, all menhumans are not born evil, or sinners, or what-have-you. The priesthood project their own personal sins upon all and sundry as camouflage.

you know, this theory actually holds some water. but theories are treacherous dogs that will turn on you the second you let them off the leash.
this particular one falls apart when only one out of every 30 dictators or so does anything even remotely in the best interests of the people.
the other 29 have always been total jackasses.
when you compare that to democracy, which has the best track record out of any type of government in history, then you have to reconsider and start looking for where your theory went wrong.
