Someone earlier asked a very interesting question.

Can humans and apes interbreed to produce offsprings?

According to the theory of evlution, the answer is yes.

Since human and apes once belonged to the same species, they should by right be able to interbreed. But due to long period of mutation, it have become impossible.

if one of our closest species of apes has not extinct, it is possible for human to interbreed with apes (likely a chimpanzee)

Maybe it is possible to interbreed with one of the many surviving species of chimpanzee but scientists do not dare to do the experiment as the religious world will be crying out for those scientists' life
