Teaching your children the Truth does not qualify as brainwashing. Truth is not decided by a majority vote--just because the atheists and the secular humanists Christians are? too plentiful does not make them right.
Fixed that little error for you. Otherwise, you're completely right.

I agree. Which means that we aren't brainwashing. You, however, are.

Yeah, we know. Now stop pushing for constitutional amendments based solely on religious bigotry.

"Teaching your children the Truth does not qualify as brainwashing."
Definition
Truth: a fact that has been verified.
So go on, produce a single verifiable fact that proves the existence of Gawd. When you can do that, you will have the first thing you need to begin a case demonstrating that your religion is not brainwashing people. Since that unlikely to happen, your religion's activities will continue to be classed as brainwashing.

Truth, with a capital T, must be a special kind of truth, completely separate from facts as we know them.

Ok, what about the more than 3500 forms of "truth" around the world?

Therefore, the fact that the majority of the US is Christian doesn't make them right. Duly noted.

Wait, was there an overnight population explosion of atheists? Last I heard, we were still only around 15%-20% of the population.

I'll agree it's really not brainwashing. It is indoctrinating them with stupid bullshit.

Truth doesn't mean what you think it means.
Truth is not something you find in the bible.

Little kids will believe anything you tell them, so, yes, it is deceitful to teach them something you don't know for a fact.

Too plentiful? Less then 10% of the United States declares itself to be atheist, while over 80% is some form of Christian.

You are correct. Truth is not decided by majority vote. Unfortunately, prejudice, ignorance and intolerance are.

Brainwashing works by lowering a person's self-esteem, and then raising it back up.Sounds like religion to me.
