It is the responsibility of real men to care for, shelter and direct their women. Women just don't have the capacity to do what's right without the guidance of men. Too many of America's men today are fagatized, so they don't stand up like the are suppose to so as to lead society!

What are these people’s obsession with being the leaders of a relationship. In a good relationship it should never come down to who’s the “leader” of them. Working together and mutually deciding on issues is better then; Oh, I’m the leader so do as I say! .

My grandmother didn't go to college; she worked at a bank instead and took care of her ailing father after her mother passed away. My mother did go to college, but she went to work first. She managed her work career all on her own and was fully financially independent by the time she met my father. She did not receive any "male guidance," for she was estranged from her father by then and still is. She has had numerous jobs and has done everything that she has on her own. My father is the breadwinner in the family, but my mother still works and both of them would think that you were insane if you suggested that my father had "guided" her in any way or that she needed to be guided by him.
To let women have rights and be independent does not prove men to be cowards. On the contrary, it shows that they are confident enough and have enough respect for themselves and their wives that they don't need maids/sex toys for spouses. It shows that they are open-minded, considerate, respectful, and are true gentlemen. Women do not want slave masters for husbands. For you, it may be sad, but it is true. So grow up.
The only advantage of men over women is having bigger muscles. Ever since we have stopped chopping down trees, working the land by hand, digging coal and stabbing each other there has been no justification for male dominance.
Applying women's rights is a big part of going from third world country towards first world country. In the poorest countries in the world, women have very few, if any, rights. In the most prosperous countries, with the largest groups of middle-class people, women have almost the same rights as men.
Religious fundies seem unable to do the right thing without the guidance of an ancient collection of even older myths about a tyrannical god.

My husband relies on my guidance in many fields of every-day-life, just as I rely on his guidance. You see, we have a relationship , not an ownership.
