Yeah, just like when they passed laws against racial discrimination and all those white people got sued for turning down blacks.

If the hetero declines by using a baseball bat and five friends and beat him while screaming "Die faggot," yes, I would imagine there would be a suit involved.
If it's a simple "No thanks, I'm straight." Probably not.

"I am looking forward to the first discrimination suit where a hetero gets sued for declining a gay's advances."
I'm pretty sure the law doesn't work like that...

Quite right. Just look at all of the women who get sued for declining men's advances.

I turned down a gay girl and didn't get sued. Guess some homo commie ACLU lawyer fell down on the job, eh?

If by "declining" you mean changing the ending of a Latin adjective or noun to match its function in a sentence, then yeah, I can totally see that being actionable in Civil court.

The sad thing is when someone is sued for beating the shit out of a gay guy after he made advances this bastard will think he has been proven right.

Just like all those times a man sued a woman for not wanting to fuck him...
No, wait, that's probably never happened.

I have a vague recollection of a guy suing a woman for 'breach of contract' or somesuch after buying her a meal etc and not getting any. This was several years ago and was one of those cases that got everybody all steamed up about 'evil lawyers' and the curse of a litigious society.
The fact is, in American or British legal terms, anyone can sue anyone else for absolutely anything. It does not mean, however that they have any chance of winning said lawsuit, as the aforementioned guy discovered when the case was thrown out and costs were awarded against him.

I would be flattered if some gay guy advanced on me. I wouldn't go out with him, but would be happy to know that at least someone finds me attractive.

Not going to happen. At least, not going to happen until a woman gets sued for denying a man's advances.

I'm looking forward to it as well, because it will be thrown out on its arse and I'll laugh at people like you who screamed persecution when it was filed.

I'm looking forward to the first lawsuit where someone is sued for extreme homophobic paranoid stupidity, but that's not going to happen either.

That does it. Next time my wife says she's not in the mood, I'm running straight to my lawyer. Maybe I can get a court order requiring her to perform. She is supposed to be submissive to me, dammit!
