Of course, this is at least in part because said men can't accept that there are in fact lesbians, and that not all lesbians (or not all women in general) are bisexual.

I'd go even further and get rid of the whole marriage thing altogether. Who the hell is some guy in a government office to tell me whom I can or cannot live and have children with? Abolish marriage, or at least the restrictions associated with it, and leave it as a purely optional private institution like baptism -- you'll make more friends than ever.

There are serious safety issues involved with keeping some people from driving. The act of a gay couple marrying presents no real threat of physical harm to others.
And driving laws aren't the same in all states. Currently in North Dakota a 14 year old who has completed drivers ed can get a permit. Once they've had that for 6 months they can take the road test and drive only their parents' vehicles.

Wait, what? Why spend all that time railing on gay marriage, then? You can't just take that extra tiny step of having a JP sign a legal document registering the two as partners? Dude, that's basically all a marriage is anyway once you strip away all the pomp and empty religious exhortations.
Look, no church in the land ever has to perform a gay marriage ceremony. But if non-religious law wants to allow it, then the church needs to butt out of the process and mind its own business.
