Marge Simpson, mother in the Fox cartoon The Simpsons, is on the front cover of the November issue of Playboy magazine, which hits newsstands today. AFA believes that using an animated character on the cover of a pornographic magazine is deceptive and harmful because it will attract the attention of children and create the kind of curiosity that can easily lead them into an addictive porn habit. What do you say?

Dude, if your son needs a comic book character to get him interested in Playboy, you're in for a big surprise once he hits his teen-age years.
I was into my brothers' and dad's stashes by the time I was around 6.
You'd think an organization that was tech-savvy enough to have a Facebook would realize that there's cartoon porn out there?
...Maybe I should send them some? I mean, there has to be some reason I've got all this Jafar/Aladdin lying around.
Because they wouldn't possibly be addicted to the porn itself, would they? No, it's the cartoon character, of course.
nah, kids get all the porn they want off the Internet. Why do you think Playboy would pull such a publicity stunt. Oh, and wanking to a picture =/= porn addiction.
BTW anyone know if Marge's rug match the drapes?
PROTIP: "The Simpsons" is a cartoon series which savagely satirises suburban American family life, values and mores.
Besides, AFA, ever hear of something called 'Rule 34'? It's been raping peoples' childhoods way before Marge in Playboy. And in ways that'd make your head asplode too. And not just her, neither...:
(content therein extremely NSFW. You have been warned.)

I'd say that I never thought the Simpson's was a kids show, so I never let my kids watch it. So I doubt they are going to be very interested in Marge Simpson. Nor do I think that the simple presence of a cartoon character--just because it is a cartoon character--is going to attract children to the magazine.
And yeah, what everybody else said about the easy availability of porn out there anyway. I think you might have other things more serious to worry about than Marge Simpson.
Someone should introduce these sheltered imbeciles to Rule 34.
I think their heads may explode, then....
I've seen that one; that 'Marge Simpson' bit is actually quite tame, even by Playboy's standards. Matt Groening is not some 18yo lolita in her frilly bobbysocks. He's a cunning old whore who, from his more than two decades in "the biz", knows EXACTLY what/how much to show.
Hmmm... I sort of agree. Not entirely but yeah, Marge Simpson in Playboy. A tad fucked up, but not really gonna corrupt any kids that much more than any other issue of the mag. The low FI is reasonable.
Confused?
