Quote# 67019

Therein lies the problem. You obviously spend much time in fantasy (TV, movies). If you spent half as much time in reading the bible as you spent watching fantasy, I don't think you'd have these ideas about aliens and such. Earth is the only planet in the world that can support life. Even NASA will tell you water is not found anywhere in space other than planet earth. No life can live without water.

Your right, Earth is the only planet in the world that can support life because Earth is THE world dumbass. Now as for other worlds in the Galaxy, that has yet to be seen, though it is quite possible that life has evolved on other planets besides Earth.

Further to that, water is actually quite common in the universe... What sources are you using???

You obviously spend much time in fantasy (TV, movies). If you spent half as much time in reading The Lord of the Rings as you spent watching fantasy, I don't think you'd have these ideas about talking snakes and such.

Indeed.

"Even NASA will tell you water is not found anywhere in space other than planet earth."

The same NASA that recently found evidence of water (ice) on Mars?

"Earth is the only planet in the world that can support life."

This statement is unintentionally true. Because Earth is the only planet in the world.

"Even NASA will tell you water is not found anywhere in space other than planet earth."

Guess NASA never heard about comets, then. Or did you think that comets are huge fireballs?

The dust particles leaving the nucleus are pushed by light from the Sun into a DUST TAIL. The gas molecules (like water, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide) that evaporated from the ices are ionized by sunlight (the sunlight tears off one of their electrons) and are pushed by the solar wind into an ION TAIL.

Io. Jupiters moon. You would have known that if you looked around and read at least one more book besides the bible.

"If you spent half as much time in reading the bible as you spent watching fantasy"

Then you'd spend 150% of your time immersed in fantasy.

Water has been detected in interstellar clouds within our galaxy, the Milky Way. Water probably exists in abundance in other galaxies, too, because its components, hydrogen and oxygen, are among the most abundant elements in the universe. Interstellar clouds eventually condense into solar nebulae and solar systems such as ours.

Fail. Epic.

Earth is the only planet with all three stages of water (solid, liquid, gas) occurring naturally that we know of.

> Even NASA will tell you water is not found anywhere in space other than planet earth.

Yeah, except for Mars, Europa, in all of the comets, and that's just what we've been able to observe so far in the solar system...

With hydrogen, helium and oxygen by far the most common elements in the universe, and helium not forming any molecules (being a noble gas), what do you think will be one of the most common molecules in the universe?

"Even NASA will tell you water is not found anywhere in space other than planet earth."

Not true. Comets, for example, have water in the form of ice. And frankly, we haven't scoured the entire universe to make sure there's no liquid water on other planets.

Rather, Earth is the only place that we currently know of that has liquid water.

Maybe if you paid as much attention in science class as you do in Bible study, you wouldn't make yourself look like such an idiot.

Bible=fantasy. Some people just prefer better-written fantasy entertainment.
