Why do "Christian" states have the highest divorce rate but the "gay marriage" state (MA) has the lowest?

God Child :Because the original marriage covenant is from God and the devil always imatates,and the gay marriages are from his program and he is not going to bother anything he already has under his control,God made one man for one woman and thats that and the devil cannot stand anything God made so he attacks marriages anyway he can,and on top of that people do not ask God who there marrieage partner is and they end up picking someone on their own and thats a mess.

I guess they didn't take into account all of the people who get married waaaay to young in the fundie states so they can have sex, and then end up divorced with kids by the time they're 25.

Aside from the 'If God wants it the Devil will attack it' mindset, I'd like to know how you ask God who to marry.
So in other words, despite all their praying and church-going, God doesn't do spit for the holier-than-thou Bible-thumping rednecks in the Bible Belt. He just lets Satan screw up their marriages. Whereas, since MA allows gay marriage, Satan rewards heterosexual people who happen to live in the same state by leaving them alone? How the hell does that make sense?
BTW, divorce rates are pretty well correlated with economics. The "Christian" states are loaded with 8th grade drop-out dumbf**ks making $16 an hour driving delivery trucks, while the people in MA have better jobs. It's a lot harder to keep a marriage going when you're living together in a beat up double-wide.

I am weary of all of this. It's been a bad day. So I am thankful that I do not live in America for fear I might just be tempted to wrap the tongues of these hypocrites round their balls and shove their dicks down their throats. OK difficult to do, I know, but leave it with me. I'll think about it.

That's why I gave up on Yahoo Answers, and I was hanging out in zoology where I would assume people would be looking for the right answer much more often than one that confirms a bias. Nowhere on that site does it matter who has the best (as in up to date and reliable) references or who explains the best, the "best" answer may as well be chosen at random from the pool.
Wow. That senseless, irrelevant pile of word-salad was chosen as the "best answer". There are other, much better answers given, but the original asker's mind was already made up and chose the "answer" that was basically in line with their decision.
It is true that the couple from Jamaica Plain who were the plaintiffs in the suit that led to legalizing same-sex marriage here have since split up. However, the state does have one of the lowest divorce rates in the country. This should kill the argument that same-sex marriage somehow ruins society- it hasn't affected traditional couples here.
