the entire science communtiy is entraped in a different paradigm, and sponsored by different interests, there is no money in homeopathy ,but there is money in vaccines, cancer medicines,etc...
if even a fraction of the money ould be spend on research on homneopathy, the story might? have been different.
it works, and in europe thousands of medical doctors swear by it.
because it is a good thing. i wouldn't hesitate to take my child to a good homeopatrh instead of vaccines even for a second.

If homeopathy worked than people would pay for it. Since vaccines, cancer medicines, etc, do work then people will pay for it.
Homeopathy? That homeopathy? The one that says the more you dilute a solution with water the stronger it is? The one that says that the water keeps the "vibrations" of the molecules of whatever it was you put in the original batch?
It's not medicine, it's water. You're taking nothing but water for your illnesses. And it doesn't cure you.
I've read that the degrees of dilutions are equivalent to one drop in a swimming pool, and then then the next level up is equal to one drop in the Atlantic Ocean.
It's pure placebo effect, and they're making a fortune off of the gullible, if the huge amounts of money some of my friends spend on it is any indication.
No money in homeopathy?
My doctor makes $30 per visit, a quick search of local homeopaths shows rates between $80-$120. Hell even my vet gets $45 for me walking through the door.
My doctor sends me to others for special treatments (pharmacy, x-ray, specialist, etc.) He doesn't make any money off of that. The homeopath charges $80 for 'essences' basically water with some trace of a herbal remedy. They'll also tell you that the herbs they charge over $100 for are 'special' compared to the herbs you can buy at Safeway for $20.
Oh, and there's always this.

On the contrary, there's a great deal of money in homeopathy. And you don't have to spend years in school or getting board certified or following FDA rules or anything.
All you need is good bullshit and a gullible audience.

Homeopathy is a conspiracy against the one true medicine!
Reflexology!
It can fix anything! Homeopathy is a lie orchestrated to deceive the gullible!
Look ats all our researchez!
there is no money in homeopathy
Probably because it doesn't work.
Actually, peddling bullshit quackery like homeopathy to the gullible and ignorant is a much more profitable venture than the manufacture of vaccines.
There's no research to be done on homeopathy. Just as there is no research to be done on astrology. The reason for this is that Homeopathy practitioners and astrologers can make up an sort of bullshit they like, at any time, because neither of these things are based in the slightest on reality.
There is more money in Homeopathy than medicine since homeopathy has much lowere manufacturing costs and makes sure it doesn't heal its patients.
I place a test. I have penicillin in my hands... the first commercial antibiotic. I know lepers...
Homeopaths and faith healers bring your best against my most obsolete antibiotic in a leper healing contest. I am pretty sure members here will pool money for a prize (If I win I will donate it to a charity of my choice - Either an Orphanage or The Spastic Society - no its not an insult here)

The basic reasoning behind homeopathy:
1. The right amounts of drugs help, overly large amounts of drugs are poisonous
2. The "right" amount is a relative term, varying from person to person, from case to case and from drug to drug
3. Certain amounts of poison are poisonous (duh), which is obviously just like overly large amounts of drugs.
4. Ergo, those "certain" amounts are in fact "overly large" amounts
5. Clearly then, if we dillute the poison enough it will become helpful, as then we'll be dealing with the right amounts of poison, which is actually an always overdosed helpful drug
Yep. True titanic feats of mind right there. Vaccines? Pfah, I say!
Since about any medication has been mixed with water at some point, that means that according to you anyone can cure all diseases just by drinking a glass of water?
Oh wait, homeopathy is BS. That's what I thought.
Confused?
