I don't know how California parents continue to tolerate and allow their children to be subjected to this evil! Are parents not standing up? Why is that every time Gov. Arnold is signing some bill to recognize homosexuals and the lifestyle? All I can say is that I am so glad I don't live in California. If I did live there, my children would not be attending the public schools.

I have 2 nieces attending public school in California, a niece and nephew attending public school in Kansas, and a niece and nephew attending public school in Tennessee.
Guess which one I'm least concerned about?

California is just that much better without you in it.
We Cal parents don't stand up much because driving around that way annoys the police.
And the children are just fine, thank you very much. We may have a few problems, but we're growing a great bunch of smart, tolerant, and happy youngsters.
This really fits in with the fundie misconceptions of the world. All college professors are atheists who want to convert all their students, all atheists want to ban religion, California is a den of sin (especially with Jew-run evil Hollywood), and all gays want to turn everyone in the world gay.
It really must be scary to wake up every morning and look at the world through the eyes of a Christian fundie.
At first I was a bit perplexed when I read "Gov. Arnold" - these fundies are usually fond of orthodox conventions (and of being tone trolls who want everyone to follow those conventions) and calling someone by their title and first name is a bit unorthodox.
But then I realized that fundies are usually not very good at spelling either, so writing Gov. Schwarzenegger would probably have been too difficult for her to write.
Instead of just not living in California, how about not living in the U.S.. Better yet, why not just go on and fly away in your big whooshfest and leave the rest of us alone.
Your children are welcome to stay as there is still hope that they won't turn into bigots.

As a Californian myself, I can understand some reasons for not wanting to live in California, but this isn't one of them.
Then again, Rapture Ready isn't exactly known for its sane contributions to the internet.

There are some pretty broad stretches of California where DoaK would feel pretty comfortable -- unfortunately, I'm living in one. It's places like Antelope Valley, the Central Valley, and most of the inland and rural areas that led to things like Prop 8 passing and The Governator getting elected.
Look, it isn't hurting anyone but you and your bunch-ed pants. Tell you what, let the law pass. If anything bad happens (same-sex marriage doesn't count), they'll withdraw it. Just let it pass. Okay?
